MEETING WITH CHRIS/ END OF FIRST DAY AT WORK

"Oh my God, what took you so long?" Lucy asked as she stood up from the stool
"I'm sorry I wasted your time. I actually made grape fruit juice for her and we also had a little talk", I said as I had a beep and stared into my phone
"Whatever, let's just start moving. it's o the fifth floor, so we'll better take the elevator".
We got into the elevator; lo and behold, when we came out, what I saw was a very busy section of the winery. Workers with masks and aprons were moving hurriedly to get to work. This is the Supreme's bottling section.
"Ok, next batch E", a handsome young man with gloves on his arms called out
"Who's he?" I asked Tracy as we fell into the long queue
"He's the superior of the bottling section"
"Wow, what's his name?" I asked as I seemed interested in him
"Chris", Lucy snapped and eyes me
"What, why that face?" I said to Tracy
"She's been dreaming of being his lover. We've worked here for over eight months and she had always had a crush on him, she's a jealous lover so she hates it when other girls talk about him", she responded
"Wow, so sorry dear", I said to Lucy and gave her a friendly pat
"It's okay, I'm also sorry for snapping at you"
"Batch F"
"Oh my God, let's go", Lucy said as she led the way
"Wooh, look who I have at my desk right now", Chris said and smiled at us
"Wait ", he said while searching with his eyes around the room and continued " Where's Charles?"
"Well, as you can see, Charles is now our Monday to Friday instructor", Lucy said as she leaned her head softly on his shoulder
"Ooh I see, so who's your new superior?" he asked and took her head off his shoulder
"Well, she's over there"
"Brenda", I heard someone call me . I didn't know who it was so I just continued staring vividly at the wide room
"Brenda ", Tracy said and tapped me
"Oh, sorry, you were calling me right?" I asked
"No, it's Lucy who wants to introduce Chris to you", she said as I moved forward to his office desk
"So, she's...."
"Don't worry my dear, I would do the introduction ", Chris said cutting her off
"Yes, welcome to the Supreme Vino bottling section. I'm Chris by name and you?" he asked and stretched out his arm for a handshake
"Well, I'm Brenda Logan ", I said as we shook hands
"Wow, what a nice name. Well, I must say you're really a beautiful lady ", he said
Oh my God, I felt a stream of warm blush flush over my cheek
"Thanks ", I said as I beemed with smiles
"So", he said and let go of my hand "what did you make today?"
"Grape juice, Rum and Bloody Mary"
"Ok", he said and whispered to his assistant who quickly ran off
"He went to get the grape juice and Bloody Mary. So the Rum would be available when ferment, distill and bottling process is completed", he said
"Ok"
After some minutes, his assistant came in with three carrier bags filled with a bottle of grape juice and Bloody Mary
"Here it is", he said and dropped it on Chris desk
"Ok", Chris said as he took out one bag to hand over. I stretched out my hand to receive it "No dear, Lucy first", he said smiling
"Oh, I know"
"Lucy", he called out while she slowly cat walked to his desk
"Here", he said and handed her the bag
"Thanks honey", she replied with a sweet voice
"Tracy'', he called out
"Here", he said and also handed her a bag
"Thanks so much"
"You're welcome. Wooh, finally my dear", he said and beemed as he handed the last bag over to me
"Thanks"
"Yh, hope you'll like to hang around some time, so we could be friends, right?" he asked
"Ughm yeah, but not at work 'cos I won't be chanced enough"
"Okay, it's fine" he said and signaled me to come closer
"You can get my contacts from Tracy. I know Lucy won't want to give it out. Maybe we could be able to communicate", he whispered as I nodded
"Ok", he said aloud and composed himself"Batch G"
