school

Danny wakes up early and yawns. She is quite nervous for what the school would hold. She has only ever been in mixed schools so enrolling in a school with only werewolves is something she is worried about. She knows in Florida the werewolves didn't mind outsiders since there are so many in the school but this school is bound to be different. She gets up and do her morning routine in the bathroom. After getting dress in a black tank top, red and blue checkers crop top with black ripped skinnies and black combat boots, she gets to her room and starts getting her backpack ready. It's beyond heavy, but Danny knows that once she gets her locker she can just dump it all in there. She runs downstairs to see Jackson just finishing up breakfast. "Morning dad." She says trying to keep the nervousness out of her voice. Her dad jumps probably 3 feet into the air.

"Morning dear. Next time make some noise or something. You know this spell makes it easy for you to sneak up on me." Jackson says with his hand over his heart as if to slow his heart rate to a normal rate.

Danny just laughs and sit down in front of her plate. She starts eating quickly and before long the dishes are in the dishwasher, the dishwasher is on and Danny is bolting out the door.

She gets in her car and plugs her phone into the aux cable. She searches her playlist but stops at Nightcore's Pretty girl and turns the volume up and heads to school. By the time she gets there, Kings and queens also from Nightcore is playing and she is singing along loudly. She sits and waits for the song to finish before grabbing her backpack and going inside looking for the administrative part in the school when something almost hits her behind she head. She turned just in time to catch the football heading her way. "Whose is this?" She asks loudly.

"That would be mine." A relatively hot... Okay who is she kidding this guy is absolutely hot. He has black hair, iceblue eyes and muscles so big it makes the red T-Shirt he's currently wearing go taught against his arms.

"Here you go. Please be aware that you could hit someone over the head if you're not careful." Danny states outwardly calmly and and smiles, turning to where she thinks she saw the administrative office.

"Thanks, but how could a non werewolf sense it?" He asks joking.

"I had quite a big circle at my old school, 2 of the guys used to do the same thing till I threw them with it. They became 2 of my best friends. One left with his mate though and one had his mate join us, she's awesome." Danny said bored and kept walking. "Hi, I'm Danny. I'm here to pick up my schedule?" She asks the administrative lady.

"Ah yes, I'm miss Jordan, ignore those boys, I don't think they will be growing up anytime soon. Here you go. Schedule and locker number and you have 10 minutes before first period." She smiles friendly. "And don't worry if you need anything you know where to find me." She had short blonde hair cut in a type of pixie style, with blue eyes. She looks like she could be sisters with the Luna, but she would be the better and prettier sister.

"Thanks miss Jordan." Danny says heading off into the direction of her locker to take out most of her books. She looks at her schedule. "English first." She mumbled.

"So it's true, they did let a human in this school." A girl faker than a Barbie doll sneers at her.

"Wait she's here? As in here here?" A bubbly person comes running towards the doll.

"Well, it's time we show her who is boss." She the doll says looking at her manicured nails and slowly walking over towards Danny with her little group. Danny was just getting ready to defend herself when the bubbly girl gets in front of her. She is short for a werewolf with green eyes and short brown hair.

"This might be what my dad teaches you but if you don't want my brother to lose his title to me, which by the way, as the oldest, I may get with a simple say so, I strongly suggest you turn around and get walking this is NOT how MY pack will conduct themselves. Is that clear?" She says friendly but letting out her alpha aura smiling. They walk away scowling. "Ey, are you okay?" She asks. "I have never seen a human before. You are so pretty! Pay them no mind as long as I'm around you'll be safe."

"Penny. Breathe!" A boy says behind her. Then he hugs her. Wonder if they are mates.

"Yes, sir. But look how cute she is!" She says screeching getting everyone to hold their ears.

"I'm Danny." Danny says awkwardly.

"I'm James and this bundle of adorableness is Penny aka Penelope." James says. James is tall compared to Danny, he has brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Don't call me that." Penny says pouting. "What if I meet my mate and he hears you? He'll kill you for sure." Danny's eyes grows 4 sizes. "Oh. You thought we were mates? Nope we are just best friends. Heaven help if I became Alpha, he would be my beta." Penny says noticing Danny's shock.

"That makes sense. Well gotta get to class." Danny states.

"Cool what do you have first?" Penny asks.

"English. You guys?"

"Science for me, you're with James though." Penny says a bit let down but it only lasts for a few seconds.

"Come on, I'll show you the way, that way the b***h crew would still leave you alone." James says when the warning bell chimes.

"Sure. Thanks." Danny says smiling.

"No worries, someone needs to look out for the human." He says laughing.

"That makes me feel great about it." Danny mutters. Please note the sarcasm.

"Sorry." James says quietly.

"It's fine." Danny says finding her seat at the back of the class and James sits next to her.

"Books open." The teacher says strictly.

"That's Mr. Claude. Strictest of all your teachers don't worry though, he's fine as long as you do what you're told." James whispers.

"I see we have a new face this year. You can introduce yourself in another class, we don't have time to make chitchat in this one. It seems your friend already told you who I am and since administration already told me who you are, get out your books so we can get started." Danny quickly opens her books. The class starts and they go through the lesson with Danny making notes.

"First subject and we already have homework. How is that fair?" James complains.

"Didn't we just have like a whole month off?" Danny asks laughing.

"Yeah, but give us time to adjust for goodness sakes." James groans. Danny just laughs.

"Math for me how about you?" James asks.

"Same. Though I have Spanish after." Danny says.

"Well, Penny is in this class with us but she also has Spanish with you next period." James says.

"Awesome." James says. The day passed quickly. "Why don't you join us for food?" James asks as they all start heading out to the parking lot.

"Can't, it's my turn to cook. Tomorrow?" Danny says.

"Awwwww... Sure." Penny says. Just then another ball came at them. Danny catches it again. But this time she keeps it. "What are you gonna do with that?"

"So I can't come out with you guys for food, but how about I make us something at home and you'll see what I do with the ball? If you can't I'll show you tomorrow." Danny says smiling.

"I'm in!" James says.

"Me too." Penny says. They follow Danny home and she calls her dad to tell him she got friends at home.

She takes the ball into the garage and paints it pink with purple dots. Then enchant it to say mommy everytime it's caught. To test it the three throws it around a bit.

"Wait a minute, so you're a witch?" James asks.

"To be honest, I don't know what I am. I used a charm one of my old friends made to charm balls thrown at us without having to say anything or using our own magic to do it." Danny explains as they go into the house where she makes them snacks as well as cooking supper for her and her dad.

They chat a bit until Penny and James have to go home for dinner. Danny starts doing homework while waiting for her dad and it's done soon. She heats up the food and plate the food and pours coffee just as Jackson gets home. They eat and Danny tells him everything even with the prank she's prepared for the boys.

"Danny, you shouldn't have done that. This is werewolves, who knows what they would do to you."

"I have the reversal as well, as soon as they stop throwing me with it I'll take it off."

"You better." Jackson says sighing. "How are you holding up with everything that's happened since we moved here?"

"So far so good, it seems I don't have anything to be afraid off, the mean girls are taken care of by Penny and the jocks I handle myself. The homework isn't to much and since the pack is basically ignoring me outside of school there's no worries." Danny says thinking of not being able to go to the clearing today.

"What I meant is with the fact that your mother and I aren't your biological parents." Jackson says cautiously.

"Oh!" Danny laughs. "I completely forgot about that fact, I don't even think I want to know who my biological parents are. I think should I ever meet them I would say I have parents who love me. I don't need them I have you."

"Thanks sweetie." Jackson says. Danny hugs him and clean up before going upstairs. Her homework is done so the decides to do some research on the pack. She goes downstairs after a few hours and drinks some coffee with her dad before going to bed.

The next morning, she wakes up early again. She checks her alarm since it didn't go off yet. 04:30. "Well, I'm up anyway." She makes breakfast and wakes her dad up at 5.

"Why?" Is all Jackson asks taking the coffee from her.

"I want you to train me." Danny states simply drinking her own coffee. After much begging and pleading, they are outside in training outfits and Jackson starts off with cardio. They run twice around the territory, do some weights and seeing as this already tires her out they stop there with her getting ready for school. At school she meets up with Penny and James.

"Did you bring it?" James asks quietly.

"You know it." Just then the jock from yesterday made his way over.

"Where is our ball?" He asks not even greeting.

"You mean the one you threw at me after I specifically warned you to be careful? You mean that ball?" Danny asks smiling innocently.

"Don't play dumb, you know I meant that ball." He growls.

"Oh, this is going to be good." Penny mutters as Danny take the ball in question out of her bag and toss it to the jock who catches it, but drops it again as soon as the loud "Mamma" comes out of it. When he drops it he also notice that it's not brown anymore. Penny took a photo of his face.

"Thi... This isn't the ball I threw at you yesterday." He says confused.

"I know a witch or two." Danny states looking at her nails.

"Well fix it, we have a game this weekend." He growls.

"Penny, what's that word I'm looking for? Starts with a N?" Danny asks looking at petty.

"Well... There's no, nope, never, not even in your dreams..." Penny starts.

"That's it! Nope." Danny says popping the p. "Not until you stop throwing it at people." She adds heading inside.

"You are aware they won't throw that specific ball now right." James says.

"There will be other balls. And if I catch those eventually they will learn their lesson. Especially when coach asks either why are the balls pink or where are all the balls. They should be grateful. If my friends were here the balls they throw me with won't be the only things that are pink." Danny says nonchalantly. School went by with one or 2 Mamma's until it too finally stopped. James was right though as soon as lunch hit the ball was switched out. Danny though was right too since it wasn't even a week until basically all the balls were pink and purple and screaming "Mamma." It isn't long before they call her and her dad in and she tells them exactly what happened to the balls promising that as long as the balls doesn't keep landing on her head she would use her friend's trinket to take the spell off and wash the balls. The coach says she just have to remove the charm and that he will have the boys wash the ball in punishment for hitting people over the heads with footballs. They are in accordance and Danny comes out on top.

That night she removes the charms and calls Jamie to tell her what she did and all about school the past week. Jamie has her own stories to tell though and they were talking for the rest of the afternoon.
