“Do you think this is safe?” I asked him for the hundredth time today.
“As safe as it can get.” He replied me again. He must be tired of the questions already. But he did not sound like it. He sounded a little excited if that was possible.
Somehow, he convinced me to eat out with him since this was the last day we would be spending in this city. There would be another road trip to a different city tomorrow for their next game.
Looking around the quiet diner, I couldn't shake off the feeling that this was a bad idea. But then, there weren't many people around. So, we could work with that. He had a bucket hat that was big enough to hide his face and a hideous framed glasses on. Even I would not have noticed he was Liam Kane if I passed by him.
