Zilara and Tom left the dungeon, and Tom started walking forward.
Zilara: My lord, would you like me to lead the way? I know where it is.
Tom: That won't be necessary. I know where it is located.
Zilara: How? You have never been there.
Tom: you are right, but I still know. Oh, and please hold that weapon. It would look strange if someone from my age had a sword.
The blade levitated next to Zilara, and she grabbed it.
Zilara: As you wish.
They walked for quite some time when finally they reached the village. The houses were rather old and were made of wood. Many of them had holes in their walls. Tom and Zilara approached the settlement. The streets were empty, but as they got to the centre, they saw a dozen soldiers and a skinny person. He had a pipe in his mouth and was waiting.
An old guy with a long white moustache walked to this skinny person. The villager kneeled down before the other like he was some kind of lord.
Older person: My lord, we are terribly sorry, but our adventurers had gone to the dungeon, and they have yet to return.
Skinny: I don't need your excuses. Where are the items you have promised?
Older person: Lord, please give us a few more hours. I am sure they will return.
Skinny: I have been waiting for a long time. Your time is up.
Older person: But.
Skinny: No, you have failed again, and soon you will face the consequences of this failure. We will head to that dungeon and loot it ourselves.
Tom: So you want to die.
Skinny: Who said that?
Older person: My lord, it was probably a child. Please don't let it bother you. He doesn't know what he just said.
Tom and Zilara walked forward next to the skinny man.
Tom: Oh, I do know what it means.
Skinny: How dare you talk to me like that, you little brat. Who the f**k do you think you are?
Tom: I am the overlord of the dungeon you want to raid. Thus you will be killed.
The man grabbed his sword and slashed at Tom's head, but Tom bit the armament, and it stopped. The man was shocked, and Tom shattered his blade with his grip; he spat the shards out and looked at his opponent.
Tom: Is that all?
Skinny: What the f**k are you? SOLDIERS, SIEZE HIM UP!
The soldiers rushed at Tom with their swords. Tom walked forward, and he evaded the first incoming blade and grabbed the wrist of its owner. Tom twisted the man's arm and used it to cleave his head down. The others decided to attack him all at once. Everyone got ready to stab the kid, but they couldn't move their armaments.
Soldier: What?
Tom: Die.
Every sword penetrated their owner's chest, and then they flew next to Tom and started orbiting around him.
Tom: So you wanted to raid my dungeon. How should I kill you?
Skinny: I-it was a simple joke. We would never raid your dungeon. Please let me leave. Or take their life instead of mine. I am still young.
Tom: You are saying that your life is more valuable than theirs? Why would it be true?
Skinny: I am working under the city lord. I am important. My life worth more than this whole village.
Tom: You can be easily replaced with another i***t who can walk. Your job is not necessary at all. Those who work in the fields have more crucial roles than you do. They are the ones who feed you, but you do nothing more than consume. Your very existence is meaningless in my eyes. Now die.
Skinny: Please wait!
The orbiting blades darted at him and chopped him into tiny pieces.
Tom: Zilara, call some help from the dungeon.
Zilara: My lord, why do we need help?
Tom: We will take the corpses to the dungeon.
Zilara: But wouldn't it be easier to let them stay here? It would put the village in a sticky situation.
Tom: It would, but if they learn that our dungeon did it, they will reconsider raiding it again.
Zilara: My lord, you are amazing!
Older person: Young overlord. May this old man ask why you decided to visit our humble village?
Zilara: How dare you talk to our lord!
Tom: Zilara, leave it to me. You should go and do what I have said.
Zilara: Right away, my lord.
Zilara ran back to the dungeon, and Tom stayed at the village.
Tom: Three of you attacked my dungeon, and I came to see what the situation is.
Older person: We are sorry, but we had no other choice. We were forced to do it. Is there a way we can compensate you?
Tom: I will be taking those corpses and if someone asks about them, tell them that they came to my dungeon. Do that, and I will forgive you.
Older person: If that is your wish, it shall be done.
Tom: In the future, I don't recommend raiding our dungeon or else I might not be this kind.
Older person: I understand. But I do have a question if you don't mind.
Tom: I don't mind.
Older person: How do you know so much about life? You seem young.
Tom: This is my own secret.
Tom walked away, and suddenly the corpses and their belongings started crawling after him. Like they were attached to him, and he was pulling them.
As Tom was walking back to the dungeon Zilara and a few wolves run up to him. Zilara was shocked as she noticed that the corpses were being pulled.
Zilara: My lord. How did you know that the wolves have respawned?
Tom: I have a few tricks up in my sleeves.
Zilara: My lord, I know I have already said it, but you are so awesome.
Tom: Thanks, but let's get back to the dungeon.
Zilara: As you command. Wolves bring the corpses back.
The wolves could only grab one body, and they were less than the corpses. Zilara took two of them, and two remained in Tom's care.
Zilara: my lord, could you explain why it was essential to step in that argument?
Tom: Because with this, we hit two bird with a single stone.
Zilara: I don't quite understand.
Tom: First of all, we prevented another attack. Secondly, we showed our strength, so the villagers will think twice before attacking us.
Zilara: You are too kind to them. I wouldn't have let them away.
Tom: Who said anything about letting them go?
Zilara: What?
Tom: I was just testing them. They think it is over, but the game has just started. Soon that region shall be under our control.
They entered the dungeon where Lakru and Inir were waiting for their lord. As they entered, the wolves took the corpses to the other two; Zilara threw them there as well. However, Tom did not deliver them, but he pulled them to System.
Tom: System, can you use their equipment to make dresses for us?
System: Of yours, master, it shall be done.
System grabbed the two body and walked to the storage room. Tom sat down to the throne and was waiting. Zilara told everything that happened to Larku and Inir, and as she finished, they walked to their lord and kneeled before him.
Inir: My lord, may I speak?
Tom: Go ahead.
Inir: Why didn't you kill the villagers? They will call reinforcements at you.
Tom: I know. And it goes just as I have planned!
Inir: You mean you have expected something like this.
Tom: Yes. I know that they have already asked for help.
Inir: But what will we gain from this?
Tom: You know, if a powerful foe appears to defeat many attackers, that person is feared.
Inir: And what do we gain from fear?
Tom: They will probably train adventurers to defeat us.
Inir: You want to turn them to our side, my lord?
Tom: Of course not. We shall be those strong adventurers. We will gain their trust, and then when they most need us, their so-called heroes will turn against them.
Inir: It is a splendid plan, my lord, but how do you know that they will really attack us.
Tom: Listen, they will attack in three days. And we will be ready for them.
