Chapter Ten
Leia froze in her position on top of the old mine when she saw the bald hulk emerge below her. She started to creep back to flee, but was too late. The stranger with the gun looked up and saw her immediately. He aimed his weapon directly at her.
Zap kept attention on Leia.
“Who are you?” Leia's voice cracked slightly as she asked the question to which she already knew the answer.
“Don't move, Nurse Lightoller.”
“What do you want with me?” Leia decided to keep him talking. Glancing down, she saw Tate's figure with her peripheral vision. He was crawling carefully behind the boulders closer to Zap's position. He wouldn't be close enough to Zap to jump him in time to stop the gun from going off. But Leia could try to maneuver Zap closer to the boulders where Tate lay in wait
