Evan POV Being Megan’s bodyguard was boring as hell most of the time, but it had its perks. I wasn’t getting shot at every other day, and I got to eat lunch at Nebula. Adam wasn't lying. The food was incredible. I was particularly fond of their lamb burger with spicy potato wedges. When Megan worked a split shift, I got to nap in the apartment above the restaurant as long as someone was downstairs with her. Her crazy-ass mother didn't like an audience when she assaulted Megan, so she was safe if other people were around. The biggest perk was that Megan didn’t like to sit idle during her off time and often chose to run errands. That meant I got to see more of the city, not just the restaurant and what we passed on our way to or from Winter Valley. Sometimes those errands were business
