To restore his career, he went ahead to pick up the pieces of what is left. He didn’t mind facing the shame, fortunately for him, he still had some few friends in the Industry who came out to support him both publicly and financially.

This boost his confidence and he decides to produce his for movie. With the help of his rich friends who invested in his movie, he made an epic come back into the industry. The movie broke record and made a huge income and also earned him multiple awards and Accolades.

Every end of the year, Dave writes a New Year resolution. He prioritizes these resolutions and worked towards achieving them. He had accomplished all his resolutions except only one, “getting married”.

In preparation for another New Year in two days time, he had wrote his New Year resolutions as usual and assured himself that before the year runs out, he would find a life partner and settle down.

He had a long list of qualities he would look out for in a woman. He does not discriminate when it comes to skin types. Both dark and light skin women were his taste. He loved his women curvy and thick. He does not like loud women, he prefer them classy ladies and stubborn.

Dave does not like his game easy. Just like in his favourite Tv channel, Animal planet. He enjoyed watching the hunters; go after their prey as they run for their lives. That’s exactly how he prefers to chase his women. He can go at any length to get a woman.

He once sang opera at the mall to get a lady to go out with him. That gesture kept him on the news for 2 months. His gestures always seemed genuine but he quickly looses interest and jumps into another relationship.

He loves causal and open relationship. He loves to watched ladies fight for him both in private and in public and never felt guilty in anyway. He defines his relationship with any lady, but since women are emotional, most of them fought to settle down with him.

A lady he dated for 5 months once slapped him , after tricking her into believing, he was about to propose.

He had invited all her friends and family for her surprised birthday. In the middle of the party, he knelt down and presented the lady with a box. She freaked out immediately and everybody started screaming, but when he opened the box, she saw a bracelet instead of a ring. Her countenance changed immediately. It didn’t make sense to her why he had to kneel down, so out of annoyance and shame, she slapped him and ended their relationship.

In his defence in an interview, Dave said, the girl had a lot of expectations from a f**k boy.

But with the New Year approaching, He vowed to change his lifestyle only if the right girl comes along.

Mike, one of his Rich Investor friends invited him for a New Year’s party, holding in one of his luxurious mansions in LA.

His invite had a plus one. He was confused on how to find a serious date, so he resorted on his best friend, Steve, who promised to get him a blind date.

The idea of a blind date was not too subtle, because he hates surprises. But he had no choice than to go along with the plan.

It’s been a while since his breakup with Lizzy, and he’s yet to move on. He was still traumatized by the whole incidence and felt discouraged to pursue other serious relationships.

They barely saw each other, and each time they met, they walked pass each other without blinking.

He wanted his new date to be special and different from the old ones. A classy independent lady, or simply put, a wife material.

His blind date would be meeting him first at his upcoming movie premier which would be holding on the 31st night. The movie was his biggest work so far and he couldn’t wait to air it to the public.

On the day of the premier, He woke up a new man. It was another beautiful day to accomplish his goals, so he had a positive vibe. He rose up from his bed and played his favourite music on his phone. He sang along as he danced to his wardrobe to pick out his clothes.

His wardrobe was one of the best furniture in his house. His wardrobe was made of glass to display his stylist clothes. He organized his cloths in brands and colours. Each design had its own compartment. His shoes and jewelleries also had a separate wardrobe.

As he went through his wardrobe, there was an overwhelming joy within him. He felt like a kid whose father gave an ice cream for the first time.

He quickly rushed into the bathroom and freshened up.Dressed up and checked himself out a couple of times in the mirror, making sure all the fine details of his clothes were conspicuous. He did a little tap dance before leaving his house.

While driving to the CINEMA, he made couple of calls to find out if everything was set for the premier. His organizers assured him that all was set.

On arrival, most of his guest, were already gracing the red carpet. Some of them were A-list actors and his rich friends.

The crowd were overwhelming. His fans came out in numbers to support him. He was surprise at the turn up.

As a popular actor/producer in the industry, He was well known for his dedication and outstanding movies. He always put in 100% at scriptwriting and most times, he sold his scripts to major producers in the industry. He invested a lot in his movies and the end product was always fabulous.

The premier meant a lot to him. He singlehandedly produced and directed the movie.

The movie centered on domestic violence and the story of his past relationship. It was a tell all movie as he was finally ready to show the world what transpired in his past relationship.

He was going through a healing process while producing the movie and every day on set reminded him of his past trauma but when the movie was finally ready, he decided to move on.

While Celebrities posed on the red carpet for their pictures to be taken by paparazzi and fans, Dave went round greeting his friends and took some pictures with them.

He was also secretly looking out for his blind date. He tried not to get himself distracted from fans and friends. He noticed most ladies admiring him, but none of them appeared to be his date.

He had a good charisma and like displaying his well built features. He flashed his best quality watches, bangles and rings while posing for pictures. These accessories also included his latest IPhone 13, which ladies couldn’t get their eyes off.

After the red carpet Event, he moved over to the counter to assist his team, in selling the movie tickets.

He smiled and sold the tickets, hoping that one of the invitees would be his lovely date.

Suddenly he perceived a fragrance .The fragrance was a mix of Petal and lemon scent. It gave him a feeling of excitement, because he loves natural fragrance. There was something classy and exceptional about it, and he found himself distracted. He eyes wondered through the room in search of the lady wearing the fragrance.

Behold there she was, walking towards him.

Her skin glowed like the sun as she moved towards him. Dave was very nervous. He could hear his heart beat so fast. He cautioned himself not to look, but her smile trapped him.

All he could think of, was, how to make her his wife and set off to the moon with her. He just saw a paradise on earth and would do anything to enter heaven.

Lost in thoughts, he quickly turned his gaze and started scrolling his phone, while saying all manner of prayers in his head.

He felt a hand on his shoulder; and looked up and saw the lady. She smiled at him and gave him a warm hug.

“You look so handsome in person” she said. Thanks dear, Dave replied. The lady continued, “Am Tina, a big fan of yours. Am also your blind date” she said smiling. “Am Dave, thanks for coming, glad to finally meet you. I must confess you are very beautiful; Dave replied and shook her hand.

He looked into her eyes, her gaze melted his heart, and she smiled at him displaying her perfect dentition. "I love your smile", Dave said. "Oh thanks, she replied while adjusting her side hair, exposing her golden sparkly ear rings.

He was immediately informed that it was time for the show. And he went into the Cinema with his date. He was marvelled that his best friend, Steve, could be so thoughtful in finding him a classy lady.

The last time Steve hooked him up with a lady, she turned out to be a stalker.

Surprisingly Tina was the perfect match. Exactly his taste and what he always envisioned his lady to look like. She was so poise and clam. Had a good taste in fashion and speaks fluently.

After the show, he kept her by his side as friends congratulated him on the movie. He didn’t want to let her go but it was getting too late, so he quickly invited her for the New Year’s party at his friend’s house and she gladly accepted. He watched helpless as she walked away, he had chills on him just watching her walk.

His world had suddenly changed in less than an hour and he felt it.

He came back to his house at night and couldn’t wait to call her. He didn’t want to seem desperate but his feelings were growing by the minute.

He quickly dialled her number. It ranged but she did not pick. He called her two more times and she didn’t pick. He became very worried and thoughtful. He was very eager to speak to her, so he sent her a text to call him back.

He waited for her call for 30 minutes. While waiting, he envisioned her running down from a beautiful fountain, calling out his name. He ran up to her and kissed her passionately. His thoughts were immediately cut short when his phone started ringing.

It was Tina, she was calling him back. Dave became nervous again; his hands were shaking as if they’ve never met. They spoke for hours and he asked her to come over, so that they can both go to the New year’s party from his house. She smiled and politely turned him down, but promised to see him by 10pm. Dave’s heart leaped for joy. He didn’t want to jinx it either or seem desperate. he quickly got her address and wished her good night.

The next day, he decided to work from home, to avoid any client who may tie him down and delay his preparing for the party. He also made out time to check on Tina, who was blushing through out the phone call.

In the evening, he took a break from work, and decided to take a quick nap, as the party was going to be all night. He Cuddled up in his bed, ready to sleep, but was interrupted by a knock on his door. He was not expecting any victor, so ignored, hoping the intruder will go after a while.

But, the knock got a bit louder and then it turned into a loud bang. He wondered who could be crazy enough to bang at his door, disturbing the whole neighborhood.

Though in the past ,he had entertained women who showed up uninvited to his house, he was not ready for this surprise. So he closed the door and took her to the sitting room. He pondered on the right words to use to dismiss her, so that she will not feel offended. She obviously came fully prepared, with all her tools. Mike gave Dave a wink before leaving. And he smiled averting his eyes, knowing fully well what his friend was thinking. This was not a one night stand, and he wanted his friends to understand that.

Dave took her to the pool and they grabbed a seat while the waiter came for their request. After their order, he drew her close to him and made her seat on his laps. “ Do you know all the ladies in LA?, Dave replied him irritated because his friend was always up to no good.

I recommended her to him, I guess he likes this her, Steve said.

“Yes I do, thank you my friend “, Dave replied. They both clinked their glass in cheers.

His manager has been a great help in helping him to prepare. He takes the burden of all the arrangements and other administrative jobs. The only service he doesn’t provide is legal service. And if allowed, he would also act as his lawyer.

The day was peaceful and fulfilling, and he drew his duvet close, remembering how he held Tina close all through the night. He may have rejected his call girl , but getting the same satisfaction from Tina was refreshing.
