Timothy Hart turned his head, his gaze finally settling on her face. The petite woman in a beige trench coat looked as fresh as ever, but deep in her eyes lingered traces of sorrow that hadn't fully faded—traces he keenly detected. His eyes darkened slightly, though he said nothing, merely giving a slight nod. "Yeah, had a little." Aurora forced a smile. What a liar. The alcohol reeked so strongly—how could this be "a little"?
