BLAKELY'S POV:     It has been a long two days. But, it has also been the best two days. Keeping my emotions on track proved so much harder than I originally anticipated. While waiting for Harlow to recover, Silas has been around me nonstop. Something I have always wanted. Something I have always wished for. I still was confused about whether it was genuine love, or if it was a tactic to get closer to my father. I knew my dear old dad would come here in an attempt to get me back. He needs an heir, or he can be easily moved from the throne. A throne he doesn't deserve. He wouldn't come for me, but to remain on the throne. Half of me wanted to believe Silas loved me. But the other half knew it was a charade to get what he wanted. But was it wrong of me...to be so willing to give in to him, only to be hurt in the end if it proved true?      I lay in bed and turn over to face my nightstand finally waking up. I couldn't help the smile on my face when the first thing I saw was a single red rose. And here I was again, hopeful that he cared. Believing the fairy tale that when my dad is finally gone, all will be right in the world, and we will live happily ever after with so much peace and love. But, I was always told, fairy tales do not exist. I try to force that thought out of my head and reach over to grab the rose and the note attached to it.      I unfolded the paper and began to read it. My heart melting at each one of Silas' loving words.      "Baby girl,      I know today you have the training session with Harlow to focus on, but I couldn't help but wonder if you weren't too tired after, if you would allow me to take you to dinner? I am going to miss you so much. But Harlow feels as if my presence will distract you. What she doesn't realize, is it is you that distracts me. My mind will be only thinking of you today my love. Don't let her be too hard on you, and don't take anything she says personally. She doesn't mean it. I love you so much. Have a good day. Assuming you said yes, I will see you tonight. I count the hours until I can hold you again.      Love Always,      Silas."      I smiled after reading the letter. I couldn't contain my excitement. I mean, sure, this may be a tactic. But, I think I might give in to this. I mean, a few months of happiness is better than none at all. Even though this may bite me in the ass. I smell the rose and stay in my thoughts for a moment when I hear a knock on the door.      "Come in?" I say, knowing it wouldn't be, yet hoping it would be Silas.     "Come on girl, training starts in 30," Harlow said walking in. Damn.      I sighed as I threw the covers off of me. "I will be done in 10. I am going to grab something for breakfast before we start."      "Yea, I already took the liberty of getting you something. You need to eat light before training or you will be so tired. Today will be a long day girly." She smiled a little. It looked like she was enjoying this.         I roll my eyes. "You look like you are feeling better." I smile a little.      She smirks. "Yea, I am. Damn. It sucks to be you today." She laughs and walks out quickly. "30 minutes Blakely!"       I laugh and climb out of bed pulling on the black yoga pants and white tank top she laid out for me. I pulled my hair in a tight high ponytail and cleaned up my room a bit. The maid Silas assigned to me was always nagging how if I kept it up she would be out of a job. I laughed, already knowing exactly what she would say whenever she saw me later.     I hurried down the corridor to the kitchen to see what "light" breakfast Harlow had in mind. When I walked in she was already sitting at the table. She smiled sensing my presence. "Sit down. Eat and let's get started."      I laughed and sat down. "You are enjoying this huh?"      She laughs. "It isn't every day I get to train a royal from a different kingdom my ways. So, I guess I am just a bit. Now, for breakfast, I got you a granola bar and water." She ays sliding it to me. "No more, no less."      I laugh and eat the small breakfast she gave me. My mind still wondering why the hell I am up...eating gronola...at 5:20 am. I finish it quickly and drink the rest of my water. I stand and put the glass in the sink. By the time I look around to Harlow, she is smiling...again. Really. Who could be this happy at this unholy hour?      "Alright, Harlow. You seem to not be able to hold in our excitement. By all means, lead the way." I smiled watching her stand.      She smirked. "Come on young witch, let's begin shall we?"      I rolled my eyes laughing at her as I followed her. I let my mind wander as we walked down each corridor. For once...I wasn't afraid to say or do the wrong thing. I wasn't afraid that just speaking would get me beaten. For once...I felt truly safe. Now, I finally understood the difference between our two kingdoms. They are as different as night and day. The sun and the rain. It was a relieving feeling. Invigorating even.      As we exited the castle, I looked around in absolute awe at the training grounds that stretched out before us. Harlow laughed at my amazement. "When you pick your jaw up off the ground we can get started."      I laughed. "Okay, consider jaw picked up."     She smiles. "Good, now let's begin. We are going to start with a workout. Yes, you are fit, but being a royal, in the land where women are not meant to be strong or independent, you are far from being in shape. The first thing is to run 25 laps. I am going to time you. A supernatural such as yourself shouldn't get winded that easily. So we will see how you do."      I nod watching her. "Alright, sounds good."      She stares at me for a long time before speaking. "What are you waiting for? The flowers to bloom. Get going!"     I jumped back at the volume in her voice and immediately started running. I was trying so hard to keep an even pace while counting my laps. But before lap number 5 my legs started burning and I felt like my lungs were collapsing. I knew she was watching my every move, and I was trying so hard to impress, but she was right. I am so out of shape. By lap 10 I felt my legs giving out. I slowed and landed on my knees. The only thing on my mind was f**k, I don't think I can keep running.      I heard her laughter behind me. Damn teleportation. "Well, you will try the 25 again tomorrow. We will see how far you get. Seems like we have a lot of work to do. Come on. Get up." She said handing me a bottle of water.      I gulp down the water, my lungs feeling as if they are about to burst. My legs hurting so bad. I stand up slowly on wobbly legs and put the bottle of water to the side still working on catching my breath. "Ok. What now?" I say between breaths.      She smiles. "Well, we need to work on controlling. Just so you don't need to worry about your emotions. Silas won't be there every time you feel your power raging. Yes. I know about that. Like I said, I had eyes everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I am glad you two are rekindling what Everett took, but his love won't save you every time something happens. You need to learn to save yourself."      I could feel my cheeks get hot as a blush crept upon them. "How do I keep it from taking over?"      She smirks. "Come here. Sit with me, meditation style."      I sit down with her and take a deep breath. She smiles noting my relief. We sit in silence for a bit until I finally break the silence. "It...is oddly peaceful here."      She smiles and exhales a breath she was holding. "Yes, it is. The perfect place to get control of that power of yours. Here is what I want you to do. I want you to close your eyes. Envision a purple ball of light deep within you. I want you to try to move that ball of light through your entire body. Imagine it running through your veins. You will feel a slight array of sparks at your fingertips and toes if you are successful. Now close your eyes. Sit in silence and focus on moving it for me. Okay?"      I closed my eyes tightly, trying to get my body to relax. I wasn't good at imagining things, so this was about to be a shitshow.      "Blakely you are too tense. Relax. Think about how good the morning breeze feels. How it feels to feel the sun rising and embracing your skin. The sound of the animals waking. Birds chirping." Harlow said in a calm soothing voice.      I tuned everything out and did as she said. I let nature consume me. God, it was so peaceful here.  I closed my eyes and tried to envision my power deep, way deep down within me. And there it was. Like a tiny spark of light. I took a deep breath and concentrated, trying so hard to force it to bend to my will. I blocked everything out except the blissful sound of nature. The birds chirping, the freshly risen sun on my skin, the pond, the ribbit of frogs as they hopped across.      I continued to focus on getting the tiny spark to grow and trying to force it through my veins. It began to grow slowly, turning into a bright ball of light in the core of my being. "There you go, now force it through your body," Harlow said, the smile evident in her voice.      I concentrated harder than I ever had before. Suddenly, I felt it. It was moving through my being. Sparks flew to my fingertips. It was an odd sensation, but it felt so...amazing. The warm feeling spread throughout my whole body. I smiled and opened my eyes quickly to see a staring Harlow. She seemed pleased with my success. I couldn't help but laugh a little.      She smiled at me in amusement. "Good that you are enjoying yourself. It is time for the hard part. Today, I am sorry, but it has to be done, I am going to make you hate me." She smirked. "That took a bit longer then I had hoped, but I have seen people take days to find their power. You took almost 10 hours. It is 4 pm now."      "10 hours?! It didn't feel like that long. It felt like a few minutes maybe. But 10 hours? And for the record, you could never make me hate you, Harlow." I laughed a little more.      "Yea yea. We will see about that." She laughed a bit. "Alright. Stand. We need to gain control of your power when it comes to emotions. So that when you feel something t a high extent, you won't blow the whole castle to pieces."     I watch her. "How is that possible to train, considering I am not feeling an intense emotion right now?"     She looks at me with a mix of amusement and worry. "That is where I come in. I will force you to feel these things."      I nodded. "I see. This is going to be a pain huh?"      She nods silently. We stand in silence for a minute. She looks at me with a tiny hint of worry in her eyes. But, it's gone as quickly as it came. "Blakely. You allowed Eldric to beat you for a year. Your mother allowed him to beat you. Your father, well he joined in didn't he?" She waits for my response.      I laugh a little. "That's all you've got? I knew that. I have come to terms with that. Try again."      She sighs. "Alright. Well did you know or come to terms with the fact that you were used as a pawn to kill Adrien and Jade." For a second it sounded like her voice broke, but her face remained void of emotion.      What she said had struck me to earth as quick as lightning. My fingertips still tingling. I felt a single tear fall. It...was my fault they died? I was used to be close to them? Their blood...on my hands. I felt the all too familiar burning spreading through my veins.      "Atta girl. Now, you need to force that energy to simmer down. Force it to stay buried within your body." Harlow instructed. Her voice came out as a muffle to my ears. It was like she was so far away.      I cried out as I felt energy being released from me. Rain clouds hovered overhead. Thunder crackled in the sky. A storm? But the sun was so bright moments before. I tried to look at Harlow through the tears. Her face looked scared. I didn't want to hurt her, but couldn't will myself to tell her to move. She knew though. She completely dodged out of my way. I heard someone approaching. Again the sound seemed so far away.      "Silas! I told you not to come out here! Go!" Harlow screamed in the same muffled tone.      The rain poured down harder than I had ever felt before. A scream sounded through the air. It took me a moment to realize it came from me. I looked up to the heavens at the raging storm. It was depicting my emotions. The rage and sadness that raged deep within me.      I watched as the lightning came crashing to the earth. Hitting the ground in front of where I stood. As it hit, it shook the ground below me, and my legs finally gave out beneath. I hit the ground hard as the storm clouds started to disappear. I couldn't stop the tears falling. I couldn't stop the pain from consuming me. As the rain stopped, I felt something around me. Silas. He came to me. I felt his arms pulling me up, and before I knew it he was carrying me to the castle.      "Silas, bring her back!" I heard Harlow demand.      "No. SHe is done today!" His voice boomed.      "Silas, she needs this." Harlow pleaded quickly catching up.      "One day won't hurt. Leave her be. Of all things to say to her, you had to use that? What the f**k Harlow?" Silas said in disbelief as I hid my tear-stained face into his chest.      "I had to hit a nerve, Silas. I had to. I didn't know what else to say." She begged as we walked into the castle.      "How about not blaming her for something she had no part of?" Silas said as he grew angrier.     "I...I am so sorry. It will not happen again. I will find another tactic. I swear." She pleaded.      He sighed as he continued walking. "I know Harlow. I know. Just...find another way okay? One that won't haunt her."      She nodded quickly. "Understood. I will leave you be and go clean that mess outside."      Silas remained silent until we stopped in a bedroom. Not just any bedroom. His bedroom. He laid me down slowly on his bed and crawled in next to me. I couldn't stop the tears still streaming down. He watched me with a look of pure concern and guilt. I looked at him unable to process what just happened. "Silas, I am so sorry. I...didn't mean to endanger them. I didn't know."      He kissed my lips gently and brushed away my tears. "Baby girl, none of that was any fault of your own. I swear. Harlow just went about things the wrong way. I am so sorry about that my love."      I watched him. "But she is right. It is all my fault. If I hadn't followed through, he never would have done this."      He smiles at me. "Yes, he would have my love. You just so happened to have been there. A mere coincidence. Yes, the whole thing sucks. They are gone, and we can't bring them back. But one amazing thing happened, do you know what that is?"      I shake my head slowly as he wipes my eyes. He smiles and kisses my nose. "The love of my life came back to me."      I giggle a little watching his every movement. I kiss his cheek. "You are so perfect. Truly."      He smiles and brushes my hair behind my ear. "I am only perfect because I have you."     I laugh a little. "Are we still going on that date tonight?"      He smiles. "We won't be going out, but I have something else planned entirely. How about I run you a bubble bath, and you get your pajamas on and meet me in the kitchen?"      I laugh. "That sounds perfect."      He stands and walks into his bathroom. It isn't long after that I hear the water running. He smiles as he walks into the bedroom when the water shuts off. "Enjoy your bath, my love. I will leave you to it. Your pajamas are on the bathroom sink." He kisses my head and leaves the room quickly.      I stand from his bed slowly and walk into the bathroom. I see rose petals all over the floor and some in the bath. I laugh a little. He does too much. If he keeps this up, he will spoil me. I laugh at the thought as I turn to the mirror and pull my hair back into a bun. I look at my reflection for a while, I look like hell. My eyes are all red and puffy. I sigh and take my clothes off slowly climbing into the massive tub.      I lean back and close my eyes, allowing the water to set my mind at peace. He was so perfect. It was like he could read my mind. I sunk into the rose petal and bubble-filled water, letting all of my troubles wash away.                                                                                   --------SILAS' POV     I walked to the kitchen quickly trying to get set up for when she was done relaxing. Thana smiled at me immediately. "Are you sure you don't want me to hang around? I don't mind cooking for either of you."      I smiled. "Thana, the whole point of this is to cook together and have some fun. That would destroy the whole date. Take the night off. Go on, get out of here."  I laughed as I pushed her out of the kitchen before she could speak again.      I turned around and began getting ingredients out to make Blakely's favorite. Sushi rolls. I set everything up on the counters as I heard her light footsteps approaching. I turned around to look at her. God, she was both extremely hot and adorable. She had her cat pajamas on and her hair tied up in a messy bun.      She walked and sat at the bar. She looked refreshed and soothed. She smiled at me. "Where is Thana?"      I smiled. "I gave her the day off."      She laughed. "Oh, so you are cooking?"      I smiled at her watching her every move. "Oh, no baby girl. We are."      She looked at me both amused and nervously. "I don't know how to cook." She admitted.      "But I do. It will be fun to eat what we make together. Taste isn't in the look." I laughed running my hand across her cheek.      She laughs. "Alright but I am going to have the opportunity to say I told you so. What are we making?"      I smiled. "Sushi."      She laughed. "Oh, great. It is worse than I thought."      She walked around the bar slowly to me and looked at all the ingredients. I smiled. "Mom used to show me how to cook different things. Me, her and dad would attempt to cook our meals together. Those are some of my fondest memories. I wanted to share that with you."      She smiled and kisses my cheek. "I would be honored to royally screw up my dinner with you." She laughed.      I smiled. "Come on. How bad could it be? Are you ready to get started?"      She nodded nervously as I leaned down to kiss her head. I smiled watching her as I pulled out the first ingredients we needed. The sushi rice, the nori, and a bamboo rolling mat. I smile. "I already made sushi rice and homemade wasabi. But what I was thinking was we make each other's dinner. I need to try what you can do." I laugh watching her.      I laid out the bamboo rolling mats in front of us with the nori as she watched me. I smiled a little placing the bowl of sushi rice in front of us. "Now, wet your hands just a bit and spread the sushi rice on the nori. Try to get it even to make it easier to roll."      She laughs as she wets her hands down. I do the same and spread the sushi rice over the nori evenly. I made this dish so much with my mom that I could do it in my sleep. As I finished spreading the rice I glance over at hers as she washes her hands. I manage to contain my laughter as I glance at the uneven glob of rice she had attempted to spread. She walks over after washing her hands of the sticky rice.     She looked at me. "I told you so. Don't you dare laugh." She said poking me in the ribs.      That is when I lost it and started laughing so hard. She laughed too and grabbed a handful of the rice throwing it at me. I laugh as the flying gob smacks me in the face. "Hey now. No fair." I laughed as I threw a sticky glob right back at her.      She laughed and looked at me. "Well sushi master, what do we do now?"      I smiled as I pulled rice from her hair. "We pick out what we want to put in them. Then we will place them in the rice and roll it up."      She laughed. "Oh, that sounds like hell."      She smiled and started picking her ingredients. Of course, she picked my favorite. I don't know how she remembered them, it only came up in conversation once. I smiled as she picked avocado, shrimp, and cream cheese.      "Since the avocado is cut in half, all you need to do is cut in thin lines down it, and then scoop it out," I said watching her.      I slowly pulled out the ingredients for hers while she worked on getting everything ready to roll. I pulled the favorites she told me about. Eel, shiso leaves, and ginger root. She smiled as she watched me place the ingredients into the middle of the roll.      I smiled and watched her from the corner of my eye. Her eyes lit up with how much I had remembered about her. "Now, we are going to roll it slowly. Just follow my lead."      I start to roll the bamboo mat slowly, rocking my hands back and forth as I make sure to make the sushi roll tight and neat. She tries to mimic what I am doing but looks to be struggling. I smile trying not to laugh. As I finish rolling mine I note she had barely even started. I smile a little and walk behind her. She freezes at the thought of my being so close. I reached my arms around her and placed my hands on hers helping her roll it. She smiled and I could feel her heartbeat quicken. The blood pumping through her veins. I laugh at her nervousness. As I finish I walk back to my roll.      "Thank you." She smiles, a light blush creeping to her cheeks.      "You're welcome, my love. Now, we are going to cut it. Cut about an inch apart." I smile as I start to cut mine gently.      I place each perfect roll onto a plate and place a spoonful of wasabi in the middle. I look over and can't help but to smile. She had been trying so hard. I smiled at the uneven sushi rolls that she flattened when cutting them. I couldn't help it. My heart had never been so full of love until now.      She looked away seemingly ashamed. "I am sorry. They don't look as good as what you had made for me."      I smiled and scooped her up in my arms as she protested. I placed her on the counter. "They look perfect. Look doesn't affect taste my love." I smiled and dabbed one of hers into a tiny bite of wasabi. I fed it to her slowly.      Her eyes lit up. She smiled. "Thank you. They taste so perfect. Even more so because you made them."     I smiled and kissed her nose. "See, that's how I know mine will be delicious."      She laughed a little. "I hate to say it but I told you I sucked at these things."      I smiled. "So you say. But I still don't believe you."  I dipped one of mine into the wasabi and took a bite. "They do taste really good. So who told who so?" I laughed as I watched her. Everything in the background seeming to fade away.      I glanced at her lips then back to her eyes. Every part of me wanted her. In every single way. I lean in slowly. Unable to control my actions anymore. I craved her. Every part of her. Her touch. Her lips. Her laugh. I wanted it all. Here and now. My lips touched hers gently at first, testing the waters, and when she pulled me into a ferocious, lust-driven kiss, I happily followed in pursuit.      I picked her up in my arms quickly still kissing her, and I hurried to my bed chambers. I laid her on my king-sized bed slowly. I kissed her deeply. A fire burned within me, and it was like she was the water I needed to keep it at bay. She kept pulling me on top of her as I kissed her with such passion and intensity. I growled as my hands trailed her body. As my hands found her chest I heard a sweet moan escape her lips. I felt myself getting harder with each passing second.      I leaned back for a second, not wanting to push her. "If you want me to stop, I will. Just say the word." I said as I attempted to catch my breath.      "No, please don't." She whispered. "I want all of you."      I smiled at the sweet words as I took a deep breath, catching the scent of her arousal. I took off my shirt quickly. SHe all but ripped hers off as she began to kiss me again. I pushed her to her back slowly and pulled her pants down, just to find to my surprise she hadn't worn panties tonight. I growled at the sight and quickly took my pants and boxers off.      I kissed down her jawline slowly making my way to her breasts. I gently kissed them and traced my tongue around her n****e as she moaned and played with my hair. As I did so, I reached my hand down and pressed my fingers and pressed them between her lips as I felt how wet she was. I rubbed her c**t gently and moved my way down, kissing down her stomach. Her moans grew louder as my tongue licked her wetness up. I let a low growl escape as I moved my lips back up to kiss her.      I slid my hardened member to her entrance and growled at the fact her virginity was still intact. I stopped before continuing and kissed her softly.      "Are you sure?" I whispered as I kissed her neck softly.      She moaned feeling me pressed up against her and ran her hands through my hair. She nodded quickly. "Yes, please. I want you to be my first."      I smirked at the sentiment, humans always were very sentimental when it came to these things. "Thank you, my love. I hope to be your last too."      I pushed inside of her slowly as she gasped. I slowly moved in and out of her, quicker and quicker, trying to be as gentle as I could. Her sweet moans filled the air. I kissed her deeply. Her lips parted slowly allowing my tongue entrance into her mouth. I moaned feeling her tighten around me. She was already so close to her o****m I could taste it. I quickened my pace as she moaned into my mouth. My tongue intertwined with hers. I felt myself getting closer and closer to the edge. I feel her tightening as her eyes rolled and she moaned louder. I felt her release as she orgasmed. I moaned louder and louder, going faster and deeper as I felt myself release into her.      I tried to catch my breath as I moved myself to lay next to her. I pulled the cover over both of us and pulled her into my chest. I kissed her head softly.      She smiled. "That was...perfect."      I took a deep breath. "Yes. It was. Only because you are."     I watched her as she slowly fell to sleep. I couldn't keep the smile off my face as I dozed off holding her. The love of my life, my whole world, right here in my arms. It was indeed, perfect.
