VIXEN “Tomorrow?” I gape at the large man kneeling in front of me. “Mhm,” Maddox gives me a huge, warm smile. It’s so genuine I start to feel silly for ever thinking he would hurt me. “Will we be able to do it so short notice?” “I’ll see what all Natalie needs and do everything in my power to make it happen,” he promises. His hand glides from the collar nestled around my neck to my cheek and I lean into the touch. A pleased growl rumbles softly in the Alpha’s chest and a burning heat blooms in my cheeks. Emeralds stay glued to my eyes, gazing at me with an intensity that sets my blood on fire. “I’m gunna give you two some privacy…” Asher says awkwardly as he stands from the couch. My cheeks turn even redder and lean forward until my face is hidden in the crook of Maddox’s neck. I
