"Yeah, that guy in the yellow hoodie did it!" Molly replied, her face looking like she was waiting for Jacob's reaction.
"Then?" said Jacob.
"Then... What else do you want to know?" Molly asked.
"I'm waiting for your explanation!"
"But! Sorry I don't want to explain anything!"
"What do you mean? You don't want to give an explanation!" Jacob replied ruffling his hair which had been combed neatly. This morning it was Margy who combed her hair.
"Here, you ask... I answer... I won't explain anything.. and even then, I will only answer if the answer I think is appropriate." Obviously Molly with a calm face and posture. He seemed to have practiced in saying this.
"How can that be! It doesn't make sense... it doesn't make sense! Then that's it? You're only going to tell about the guy in the yellow hoodie as the culprit?" Jacob mumbled.
"What else do you want to ask! I'll answer!"
"Was the guy in the hoodie at the scene when I got there?" Jacob had a very tense face. That was the thing he was most afraid of.
Molly looked at Jacob with an unreadable face, after a few seconds she finally nodded. "Yes it is there!"
Jacob's face was shocked, he rubbed his face roughly. He seemed very frustrated at Molly's answer.
"So when Margy walked into the restaurant, the guy was inside." Roderick commented, the blonde man sat up straighter, he looked just as tense as Jacob.
Molly smiled and nodded her head again. Jacob looked at Roderick. "I'm really stressed about this case, it means that at that time...the culprit almost killed Margy, Maria and Robby! I was stupid! Ordered Margy to come inside!"
Molly opened her mouth, like she wanted to say something, but she closed it again. Roderick caught the incident, since he had been watching the girl who looked cute in the dress of her choice.
"Would you like to say something, my dear?" Roderick asked which made Molly turn her head in surprise. He didn't know he was being watched.
Molly shook her head, "no! I almost missed it!" The answer.
Roderick moved to sit next to Molly, the man gripped Molly's hand tightly, with his face close to Molly's... Roderick whispered. "This time, you better let it slip. Let's talk baby!" Said Roderick.
"Its not going to work Babe! You won't be able to seduce me about this!" Molly replied with a small smile at Roderick.
"Wait a minute... let me reprocess your information. So you're saying the culprit was the man in the yellow hoodie, and he didn't come out of the room. That means he was in the restaurant when I arrived. When did he come home?"
Molly was silent for a moment. "He came home after Manuella's funeral was over." Molly replied.
"What do you mean? He only came home after Manuella was buried?" Jacob repeated.
"Yes and he was at the funeral too." Molly continued.
"You mean at Manuella's funeral? When Manuella was buried, she was present and after? What? I don't understand what you mean? Molly please speak a little more clearly! You know this is important to me!" Jacob took another deep breath. He grew frustrated.
"Okay. I'll just explain my answer. You asked when the man left the restaurant? I said he came home when the funeral was over. If you ask, when did the man leave the restaurant? I said when he left for Manuella's funeral." Molly explained with an unreadable face.
"So you mean the man after shooting Manuella he was in the restaurant... stayed there... then came out of the restaurant to attend Manuella's funeral... after that he came back into the restaurant... and only then did he come home?" Roderick repeats Molly's answer with a simpler version.
Molly nodded slowly.
"Is he wearing the same yellow hoodie?" he asked.
"Not."
Jacob looked at Roderick meaningfully, he asked his friend for help to force Molly to explain further. More or less, Jacob had understood what Molly meant. This means that the culprit was also present at Manuella's funeral.
Roderick sat up straighter and shifted Molly to look at him. Roderick stroked Molly's now expressionless face.
"Does the culprit still have anything to do with Manuella?" Roderick asked and was immediately answered with a shake from Manuella.
"Is there a family connection?"
"No! Manuella has no family here."
"Then his friend?"
"You can't say it like that..." Molly replied dreamily.
"...or someone who was close to him?" Roderick continued his interrogation.
Molly was silent, she looked into Roderick's eyes. Eyes that always make him blush. Molly smiled, then nodded.
Jacob ruffled his hair again, this information only confused him even more.
"Honey...." Roderick said now smoothing Molly's messy strands of hair in the area around her ears, "for my sake...!" He said again with his face too close to Molly's. "Say.... you've had enough of torturing Jacob! Don't be the one being tormented by the mystery of this case! So who's the real culprit!" Ask Roderick straight to the point.
Jacob smiled and shook his head at his best friend's behavior, What a reliable friend. Roderick was still holding Molly's face asking her to look straight at him. Molly pinched Roderick's nose.
"You! You want to cheat! I've already decided how to play! You ask... I answer!"
"But if this continues... we are the ones who are getting dizzy! This case is not resolved, the matter should be finished in 1 minute... but in this way, we have to spend hours on interrogation. Yes, when will it be done!" Roderick protested, he seemed to be seducing Molly by pretending to be sulky.
"If you don't want to, that's fine. I won't answer anything!" Molly replied with a satisfied smile. He was amused by Roderick's drama just now.
"Come on, Roderick! Be patient, we'd better gather questions and ask Molly, we should be grateful that there's someone we can turn to for help! Molly . . . may I continue?"
Molly nodded. "Yes, please!"
"Does the culprit have a grudge against Manuella? He shot her twice…an unnecessary act, because by shooting her in the heart…Manuella is dead on the spot." he asked.
"Yes. You could say he has a grudge with Manuella." Molly replied.
"A moment!" Roderick interrupted. "You told me once that you didn't want to interfere...because this is sensitive and will change your view of Manuella's simple life!" Roderick said which made Jacob tense up again.
"What does it mean!" Jacob insisted. His head was throbbing in pain, since he had been thinking too much. Various murder scenarios flashed through his head, CCTV footage of the man in the yellow hoodie replayed in his head. If...if only, he could see her face! With Molly's answer just now, Jacob's heart was beating really fast. What does this really mean?
"Humph....remember! You asked...I answered!" Roderick and Jacob leaned back against the back of the sofa. Molly is invincible! Even two of California's top lawyers were discouraged.
