Margy arrives home and tells Maria and Robby to rest. She promised to wait in front of their room. Margy knew they were being hit psychologically right now.
"I'll be waiting in front of your rooms! I won't leave you. Tomorrow, very early in the morning Jacob will pick us up to meet your mother. I promise!" Margy said trying to smile.
Maria nodded and went straight into the room. While Robby was still holding on to Margy's clothes, he didn't want to go into the room alone. Margy bent down and sat down so that she was level with Robby's face.
"Why Robby? You're used to sleeping alone, do you want company?" Margy asked in a soft voice. Robby nodded. "Okay for today, I will accompany you to sleep and any time you want me to accompany you, you just say, I will definitely accompany you!" Said Margy took Robby's hand and led him into the room.
Margy hugged Robby until he fell asleep and kissed his forehead gently. Margy who was still wearing her previous clothes, a thick T-shirt and material pants walked out of the room and took her cell phone, then called Jacob. He wanted to know the situation.
"Hello Jacob? What information did you receive?" Margy asked breathlessly, she was really worried right now.
"Hmph... Margy!" Jacob answered in a deep voice, "I'm still in the hospital, now an autopsy is being done on Manuella's body. Soon, when the results are complete, I'll go straight to the police station to monitor the investigation there."
"Okay Jacob, rest if you're tired. We don't want you to be sick. You have to be strong! There are many people who need you right now. Me, Maria and Robby need you."
"Yes." Then Jacob hung up.
Jacob waited for the doctor who examined Manuella's body to come out of the examination room. He had been waiting for more than two and a half hours and it was already early morning. Jacob leaned his head against the hospital wall, which was cold with a strong smell of alcohol.
After a long wait for the doctor to finally come out, he immediately approached Jacob because he already knew that the body in the examination room was his adoptive mother.
"How is the result?" Jacob asked standing facing the forensic doctor.
"She was shot from the front twice, in the left chest which directly hit his heart, then in the neck. Both were deadly, the one in the left chest killed him on the spot."
"Okay thank you!" Jacob got up and went to do the administration. She will receive the autopsy report and the hospital will take care of Manuella's body before being buried tomorrow.
Jacob would then go to the office, he would come along and oversee the investigation into Manuella's death. He wouldn't let his killer roam free while Manuella was dead.
The autopsy report was out and Jacob had paid all the costs for the management of Manuella's body. He is now limping towards the parking lot and will drive his car to the police station. Jacob tries to stay strong and stay strong, he is a strong man and a young lawyer with the best reputation, he will try his best to seek justice for his adoptive mother, not only about reputation, he is also responsible for demanding justice for his two adopted sisters Maria and Robby . They certainly wouldn't be at peace if her mother's killer was still on the streets.
Twenty minutes, Jacob was driving his car at its highest speed. On the way, Manuella's smiling face flashed in her head, making tears fall by themselves.
Arriving at the police station, he was immediately greeted by Santiago, the police officer on duty at the scene.
"Jacob, how did you get the autopsy results?" Asked Santiago, who greeted him inside the police station, they shook hands and Santiago hugged him, the man with the mustache patted Jacob on the back gently.
Santiago knew the young lawyer was in a state of shock. Jacob pulled an envelope out of his jacket. An envelope containing the autopsy report from the hospital. He handed the envelope to Santiago.
"Okay! Let's go to my room!" Jaxin was ushered into a room and Santiago sat in front of the computer, directly inputting a piece of paper into his database.
"We have checked all CCTV, and from the results of CCTV located 2 houses to the left of Manuella's residence... two houses on the opposite side, it was found that no one was passing at the time of Manuella's death except for a man wearing a yellow hoodie. short and skinny from the CCTV it's not visible, is the man carrying something or not!But he's wearing a hoodie, so he could have hidden a gun inside right?"
"Unfortunately the CCTV can't record sound, so we can only see the picture. From the opposite direction, the street CCTV showed no one passing by at that hour. So most likely the man with the yellow hoodie was the culprit. We had a hard time, because there was only one CCTV working at the time."
"Okay, you can see what kind of gun was used from the autopsy. They must have included the shape of the bullet used. You can track down who owns the gun that could use that bullet." said Jacob. It's three in the morning. His eyes were still fresh, because he had to. Actually he was very tired, because he had been traveling all day... Plus the night before he was very drunk. For Manuella he held on strong, and for Maria and Robby too. Jacob will work this out to the end.
"Did you know that Manuella has enemies? Or someone who doesn't like her? Or maybe her ex-husband?" Asked Santiago.
"No, her husband passed away a few years ago. I don't know if Manuella has enemies or if someone doesn't like her, but as far as I know she is a good person, a sweet person and never hurts anyone. I am an orphan whom she adopted as a child. He's the one who took care of me since I was little. Manuella is a very kind person, she's like a guardian angel to me.... So I can't imagine that she has an enemy who has the heart to kill her like this." Said Jacob.
"Okay, we will explore this case and will find out who the culprit is. The results of this autopsy will definitely be very useful to find out what type of gun was used, I will ask some officers to help find and track down several places selling this type of gun, from there hopefully we can can get some light. You want to go home?" Santiago asked with a sympathetic face.
Jacob shook his head, "no. I'm going back to the hospital. I'll take care of Manuella's return."
"Okay, I'm sorry Jacob. I... We'll try to get this case over with and catch the culprit!" Santiago promised, they said goodbye and Jacob walked back to his car.
Jacob was going back to the hospital. He has determined the burial place of Manuella and made a reservation, an elite cemetery with cool views like in the hills, may the figure of his guardian angel be happy in his final rest. Jacob gave the most special place for Manuella's services to rest.
