The lights steadied, but the room didn't feel stable anymore. Every screen showed the same satellite image of the city — zoomed in tightly over the archives building above them. A small pulsing marker blinked directly on top of their location. It blinked slowly. Deliberately. As if something out there wanted them to understand. Kessler leaned towards the screen. "That's not just a map," he said quietly. Jessica crossed the room. "What do you mean?" Kessler pointed to the lower corner of the display where a thin line of numbers had begun scrolling.
