She raised the inhaler with trembling fingers.
Her hand shook so badly she nearly dropped it.
Jessica stepped closer, careful.
"I'm going to help you use it, " Jessica said. "Okay? I'm not going to take it from you. I'm not going to do anything dramatic. Just __ just breathe with me."

Jessica took a breath and exaggerated it.

Out through the mouth.
Sera tried.
