Chapter 3

"Abby, wake up, " Mom said and opened the curtains and I quickly hide my face with my pillow.

"why?" I asked and she answered "because you told your uncle that you will go with him to School, " and I was about to go back to sleep but I remembered that Lorenzo would be there so I sat up on the bed.

I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and realized that Enzo's Bandanna was still wrapped around my hand, I removed it and put it to be washed, then wrapped a bandage around the wound, then I headed downstairs.

when I reached the breakfast table everyone was there except Rebecca, and I think that Zack noticed because his next action explained everything.

he called the guards and said, "Rebecca won't be getting out of the house for this week if she gets out, all of you are responsible for that, clear?"

"yes, sir, " the head of the guards said.

"good, you can go, " he said and waved his hand dismissively.

everyone was quiet at breakfast until Eric said "guys, ready?" and he looked at us and we all gave him a (yeah) nod.

we arrived at school, and much to my surprise that Zack has let Rebecca come to school, and Eric was in the principal's office to finish my moving to school papers, Eddie was chatting with his friends while Lily and I were talking and honestly till this moment Lily is the best friend I've ever got, she's nice, and of course, Rebecca was with her group of bitches.

"so, let me guess Rebecca is the school's queen Bee, right?" I asked and Lily nodded her head.

"and she has been trying to date Lorenzo for 2 years, " she said and I smiled.

"that explains a lot, " I said, and then suddenly Enzo's voice came from behind us "I heard my name over here, "

"what are you doing here?" he asked and smiled.

"uh, attending school, if it's not obvious, " I said.

"well, as long as you're here, want to watch our match after school?" he asked.

"Not this time, " I said and he immediately asked, "why?"

"Eddie and Lily are going to show me the town, " I said.

"Okay, but feel free to attend any of the matches I play, " he said and I answered "okay, " he winked and left with his friends.

"oh my God, " Lily said and I turned to her and asked "What?"

"I never saw Bex this angry before, " she said and I turned to Rebecca and her face was too red like as red as a tomato.

"Abby, you're making a number on her, she has never been like that, but I still don't get why?"

"I'll tell you, she's used to be the center of the attention, now that everyone is caring about me, she's mad, she's afraid that I'll take her place, " I explained.

after school, Eric said that he has some work to do, so Lily and I went with the driver to the clothes store, and Eddie went with his friends.

"Hey, Lil, I'm going to try this," I said and went to the changing room when I was looking in the mirror suddenly my eyes turned red, I let out a small yelp, then I went closer to the mirror and my face started to have red lines in it, I touched them and suddenly everything disappeared and I was in another place and then I was watching something, it's like a memory of my... father.

"Gabriel, this is madness, you have your wife, your family, you're going to get them and yourself killed, " A man was talking to My father.

"no, I won't let anything happen to them, whenever I see that the danger is coming closer I will leave, " Dad said.

"Leave, and what about the baby, that's coming, " the man said.

"Kol, for god's sake, I leave and my child lives or I stay and let them kill my child, " Dad said.

wait, so he didn't leave me because he didn't want me, he left so I could live, god, what is this place, and what's happening to me?

suddenly I snapped back to reality at the voice of Lily calling my name behind the door, and my face and eyes were back to normal.

"ah, yeah, I'm fine, " I said.

"Are you sure?" Lily asked .

"Yeah, yeah," I said and I can hear her go away.

then we went to the saloon but I wasn't in the same mood as before I was still thinking about what happened, was I imagining everything, but no it seemed so real.

but before we could do anything there I received a message from mom.

Sweetie, get Lily and Come to your aunt's house she's in labor and your grandmother wants everyone there.

I looked at Lily and I assume she got the same message because she looked at me and we both got up and told the driver to take us there.

when we arrived, she has already gotten out of labor, and she had...twins.

"I can't believe it, twins, " Lily said while she was looking at the twins, they are boys.

she turned to me with a smile and asked "can you believe it?" then she started playing with the boys again.

"I'm a twin, " I said and everyone turned to me but I was too far away to look back at them.

"I had a brother, " I said and then continued "his name was Kai, "

"Was?" Eddie was the only one who got it.

I nodded my head and said "Was, "

"and what happened?" Rebecca asked.

"He died when he was 15 years old, " I said and I could feel and see their reaction without looking.

"How?" Faye asked.

"car accident, " I said.

"Abby, I'm so sorry, " Lily said and hugged me but I had to pull myself together.

"no, it's okay, it's been a long time, and today isn't about my grief, today is about these beauties, " I said and the atmosphere has gone back to normal.
