Lynn's POV : I trudge into the kitchen, my clothes still smelling of woodsmoke from the bonfire with Aria. My fingers are sticky with melted marshmallows as I swallow another, savoring the sweet gooeyness. The house is quiet, Aria having retired to her room for the night. "Guess it's just me and my sugar high," I murmur to myself, leaning against the counter. As I chew, my mind wanders to Alan and Adonis. Where have they been all day? The thought of Alan sends a familiar ache through my chest. His words from our fight still sting, but I can't help missing him fiercely.
