My world had been turned upside down, and I was still trying to wrap my head around it all. The past few days felt like a whirlwind, ever since Alan dropped the bombshell that Adonis was a werewolf. I kept replaying the moment in my mind, watching Adonis's body contort and shift, fur sprouting from his skin as he transformed into a majestic black and white wolf before my eyes.
"Lynn? Earth to Lynn!" Alan waved his hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my daze.
I blinked, focusing on his hazel eyes. "Sorry, I was just... thinking."
He smirked that adorable lopsided grin that always made my heart flutter.
"Still processing everything, huh?"
