Jesse, who’d just returned to her room after another Brotzeit dinner she had only picked at, rolled her eyes. Not only did Petra have the annoying habit of practically shouting into her phone, she never had been able to sit still while talking on it. So the conversation, which most likely had started in the kitchen while she finished putting away the meats and cheeses, had taken her past Jesse’s room into the bedroom, and from there back into the hallway and the living room and lastly, the kitchen. “Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah…Anyway, thank you for getting back to me so fast.
