Chapter 7Gwen It was a good thing Gwen didn’t have to be at work till three o’clock, because she had much to do and the sooner the better. Even though nothing threatening had happened so far, that nightmare and its effect lingered. Since she had managed to clean the blood out of the trunk the night before, she decided it was time to go back to the apartment for the title and get rid of the car she used to love. It felt as though Denny’s ghost was breathing on her neck every time she had to drive it. Pulling into her parking space at the apartment, Gwen braced herself as she looked around, but nothing seemed amiss. No police tape cordoned off her apartment.
