My day was going perfectly fine until I heard that my wife didn't eat in the office cafeteria or order take out like she usually does. This was the first time she would step out of the office to eat during her lunch break. Which was already surprising on its own.
The next surprise that came on to me was when I went back to her office and she was nowhere to be seen. I don't know how it happened. But there and then, there was a bad feeling slickering through my veins.
I don't know why that happened, but I just felt like something bad happened. It was rare for my gut feelings not to be right. I hoped to God that it was just a fleeting feeling.
