A few days later, she had woken up from bed in the morning very tired and exhausted as the morning sickness was dealing with her. She had developed pale skin and dark under eyes. She quickly rushed to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee for Ace.

Ace was already waiting for her in the dining area to bring the coffee.

She set the cup down carefully, trying not to let her hands shake so she didn’t spill the coffee on him like she did the last time. “Your coffee Sir.”

“Have you removed that thing inside your stomach like I instructed last time?” Ace pouted.

Hannah didn’t look in his direction nor talk to him.

She turned around to leave, but Ace wasn’t done talking with her.

“Don’t you dare walk out on me.”

Her hands trembled. “I couldn’t do it.” I couldn’t kill my unborn child, so I decided to keep it.

"Fine," he said coldly, “you can keep it.” But, I will not let you drag me down with this nonsense.

Actually, Hannah, you are beginning to get on my last nerve. You can’t even obey simple instructions.

Well, be ready for what is to come. She didn’t know he already had plans to have other women to satisfy his s****l needs.

His words were like a knife piercing through her heart, but she lifted her face, refusing to let him see how much it hurt her.

A few days later, he drove home very early, something he never did. The house was quiet when he arrived. Hannah was in the sitting room, watching her favorite TV series. She looked up, surprised to see him after so many days.

For the first time, Ace didn’t react nor respond to her. Instead, he walked into his bedroom to rest.

But first he had to make a call to Sarah and find out if she got home safely.

“Hello Damsel”, How are you doing? Hope you got home safe? I can’t get you off my mind.

Yes dear, I got home safe. Last night was magical. I can’t wait for the next one.

“Don’t worry”. I will make sure that we see each other again very soon.

She picked up her car keys and trailed Ace to the hotel room.

She stood in front of his hotel room and watched him enter. Well, it’s too late for me to go back now.

“I need answers to clear my doubts.”

She paused and took a deep breath before knocking at the door.

She knocked at the door twice. Who is there? She quickly switched her voice, room service she replied politely. OK, come in!

She forcefully pushed the door open. What she saw made her world crumble in her face. She couldn’t believe her eyes. Ace stood there with his shirt unbuttoned, his lips stained with red lipstick while Sarah hurriedly got up from his laps and was trying to adjust her dress. Hannah, please, it’s not what you think, I can explain… Sarah tried to calm her down.

Ace, on the other hand, didn’t look surprised. Wearing the same arrogant face as usual, as if her presence was irritating him.

“Hannah, what are you doing here?” He asked irritably, standing up to button his clothes and adjusting his belt.

Her anger boiled over. She took a step closer to him, her voice breaking out in hurt and anger.

Ace, so this is your important meeting? Is this the reason why you can’t make time for your wife and unborn child? You are too busy in between her legs.

“I didn’t want you to find out this way, but you know” she makes me happy, she filled the void that your negligence created in my heart.

If you had given me what I wanted, none of this would have happened. He said coldly without any signs of remorse, his voice sharp and filled with bitterness.

Hot tears stream down her eyes, this is all your fault, Hannah. He added, as if that was the ultimate justification for his betrayal.

Of all the girls in the world, you choose my girlfriend. All I ever did was love you. I dedicated myself to this marriage, to you and this is how you choose to pay me back.

As for you Sarah, I treat you like my own sister. I thought you were my friend. How could you be the one behind my pain and suffering? Before Sarah could respond, Ace walked closer to her. Placing his hands on her shoulder and lifting her arms.

Don’t mind this mad woman. She is overreacting, giving daddy a kiss. He said to Sarah with a sweet voice, throwing Hannah a superior look, before calling on the security guards to help throw her out of the building.

Sarah my love, I am sorry for the embarrassment that this woman has caused you here. I promise you it will never happen again. Meanwhile, let me take care of this. I will be right back.

He grabbed her by her elbows and yanked her off the floor, and slammed her against the wall. He punched the wall beside her head, making her shout in fear.
