My Josephine

I'm slumped, frozen on the ground, where I've been for hours now. I haven't been able to move from this spot since I watched Alpha Roman order his Gamma to pick up my Josephine and take her away from me. The pain in my chest was unbearable with every step they took away. I imagine this is what a heart attack felt like. I'd been just barely holding myself together these past few weeks by thinking of the moment we would be reunited. To have her so close and to fail is a defeat I'm not sure I can overcome. The sun slowly rises and instead of feeling the hope of a new day, I dread every minute I'll have to spend without her. I have no energy left in me to care about anything, it's all spent on missing my Josephine. I slowly lower myself down onto the ground and roll onto my back. I look up
