We spend most of the day teaching Alexine the escape plan. Luckily, the plan was built for four people in case there were four people in this room.
"This is a genius plan," Alexine says. "The only thing I would recommend is changing the route slightly once we're in the mountains close to my pack. There is a way that is more protected from the elements and if there is a rescue team being sent our way, I'm sure that's the way my father would send them."
"Okay, we could definitely discuss a change in path," Aniu says. "I would want to check with my team first before I commit to it. At what point would we need to change direction?"
"You would have more than enough time to talk to your team. It would be about two weeks into our trek."
