CHAPTER TWELVE

My eyes were fixed on him as he placed me on my bed.
"Where did you go to ? You weren't on the bed with me when I woke up." I asked him slowly.
He let go of me and stood up from the bed turning his back on me. I stared at him. Didn't he get my question?
I was already trying to throw the same question at him but stopped when he began saying something.
"I went to take care of an urgent matter. And also forget about what happened yesterday. Don't start nursing the thought that something is going on between us, I was only concerned that's all."
I held on my chest tightly, but didn't say a word instead I allowed him to continue.
Well__Not like I could voice out a word while he's still in the middle of completing his sentence except if I wish to hear of Josh's death.
