Yandy: 12.7.15 Sandy frowned at her phone “I’ll be back.” She got up and went to the exit. I stared at the exit and wondered which guy was hittin her line, At least she getting some d**k, I laughed bitterly then frowned. “What are you doing for break?” Joon asked me as he pulled a bowl of soup in front of him. Oh, soo now he wants to talk to me, I thought as I stared away from. I decided not to be petty “Going home to Tuskegee, spend the whole holiday with my family.” I answered lamely. He nodded and took a sip of his drink “Can I come?” He asked. Without even thinking, I snorted “No.” What the f**k kind of question was that? f**k no you can’t come to the f*****g country with me and my crazy black family from both sides. Oh, no. Uh uh, that’ll cause me too much stress. His eyebrows furrowed “What? Why not?” He sat his chopsticks down. I grimaced “It's for your own good.” I stated before eating another dumpling. “You don’t want him to meet your family?” Hae-In asked as he grabbed some jampon. I stared at my plate “Not really.” I muttered as multiple scenarios popped up and I knew it was nothing put paranoia. Joon turned to me “What's wrong with me meeting your family?” He asked with furrowed eyebrows. I didn’t look at him “Nothing.” I sighed “It's just the way we're getting down there.” I “You don't have a car?” He asked as he pushed the bowl of rice  towards me. “Thanks.” I said before picking up a spoon “and no. I guess we can-” “We can take my car.” He suggested, more like demanded. I furrowed my eyebrows “Why you want to meet my family?” I asked curiously. He picked up rice with his chopsticks “Because family is important and I can't see mine because they're thousands of miles away.” He put his chopsticks close to my mouth “Open.” I did, he fed me “Besides, don't you think it's time for me to meet the family.” He wiggled his eyebrows. I gave him a blank look “It’s been” I noticed Hae-In was watching us “uh-like a couple of months.” I deadpan with a stutter. He sent me a smile “But it feels like years.” He cooed as he lift his rice filled chopsticks “Open.” Hae-In sat his bowl down and stared at us “You are disgustingly cute with each other.” He noted. I notice Joon send him a smirk “Jealous?” He teased and I nearly choked Hae-In scoffed “Nope, but you should be nervous.” He noted “You’re the one that’s going to meet her parents.” He taunted. Joon gave him a blank stare before taking a sip of his drink. I shook my head at Joon “Don't say that I didn't warn you.” I  chimed before grabbing another dumpling and sopped it with some sauce. He probably responded but I couldn’t care because these dumplings were bomb. I heard a chair squeak “I’m back.” She beamed as she sat down “What I miss?” She asked as she picked up her chopsticks. Hae-In smiled at her “Joon here is joining you two for the holidays.” He told. She snorted “His death wish.” She shrugged as she ate her I giggled “What's that supposed to mean?” Joon asked as he fold his arms and narrowed his eyes at us. “You’ll see.” She sent him a sly smirk. I rest my chin in my hand “Where are you going for the break, Hae-In?” I asked concerned. He glanced at Joon, “I um, I'm staying here.” He answered as he scratched the back of his head. Sandy nodded “You’re spending it with your family?” She asked. He shook his head “No, they’re going on a vacation so I’ll be by myself.” He said nonchalantly. I frowned “You can't go with’em?” Sandy asked with a raised eyebrow. He picked up with his chopsticks “No, my work schedule conflicts with there’s so I’ll be here.” He said before eating it. “You can come with us!” I exclaimed, causing him and Joon to look at me in shock and Sandy to choke on her drink. He glanced at Joon before shaking his head “No Yandy, it's okay-” I scoffed “Shut up,” I cut him off “no it won't. You shouldn't be alone for the holidays anyway. Plus you’ll get some good southern food out of it.” I wiggle my eyebrows then nudged Joon, he raised an eyebrow at me but I just glared at him. He sighed before nodding curtly with a smile “It will be fun, Hae-In.” He suggested. Hae-In rubbed the back of his neck before glancing at Sandy “Uh” He hesitated before sighing “if it’s not a burden I’ll join you all for Christmas.” He answered. I smiled before kicking Sandy under the table, she glared at me before turning to Hae-In with a sigh, “It won’t be a problem, Hae-In. Besides, our mom loves taking in strays.” I narrowed my eyes at her “What? It’s true! Brandon keeps coming over each f*****g holiday and he has a f*****g family.” She exclaimed. Hae-In chuckled “When are you planning to leave?” He asked us. “Monday, the 21st.” I answered as I fiddled with my chopsticks then pouted when the rice dropped. Joon shook his head as he picked up some of my rice with his chopsticks and fed me again. The two elderly ladies that sat a table away said something in a cooing way, they must of said something mushy because Hae-In nearly spit his water out and the tips of Joon ears turned red. “What did the lady say?” Sandy ask with a teasing smile. Joon shook his head before he started eating again. She turned to Hae-In “What did she say?” She asked him. Hae-In smiled at her before noticing that I was tune in, he whispered in her ear and she looked like she was going to have a heart attack. I gave Joon a pout “What did she say?” He stared at me before continuing to eat, I frowned and looked at Hae-In “What she say, Hae-In?” I asked, he sent me a sly smirk before eating an egg roll. I gave him a flat look before glancing at the old ladies that were smiling our way and still talking. One of them made eye contact with me and said something, I saw Joon smile at her and replied. Whatever he said made them giggle I’ll find out on my own, I stood up and turned to their direction as soon as I took a step Joon pulled me down onto his lap. I was shocked at first but I shook out of it and glared at him “Let me-” He put fried duck on a stick in my mouth. “Chew.” He demanded as he held me in place. I frowned at him before taking it out of my mouth, “Don't tell me what to do.” I said childishly. He rolled his eyes as he leaned closer to my face “She said we make a cute couple.” He whispered into my ear, I gaped at him once he moved back. I got knocked out of my thoughts when he thumped my forehead “So troublesome.” He scolded. My embarrassment washed away and I glared at him “I’ll show you troublesome.” I threatened weakly. He scoffed as he picked up a napkin and wiped his mouth before furrowing his eyebrows at me then wiping my mouth. I stared at him in mild shock and he stared at me with a thoughtful look. “That was so cute, I think I’m going to throw up.” Yandy gagging brought me out of my daze. I side eyed her before cuddling into Joon “Well gag, bitch.” I playfully sneered. Joon muttered something in Korean which made Hae-in chuckle. Sandy and I narrowed our eyes at both of them, not liking that they were speaking about us in a different language. We made contact before sharing a smirk. I elbowed Joon hard in his stomach which made him couch, “Oopps.” I covered my mouth “My bad, bae.” I pouted. Sandy accidentally knocked Hae-In’s drink over, making some of it spill on him “Oh my gosh.” She gasped as he hopped up “I’m so sorry.” She apologized with a fake sincere voice. His aunt came running towards us with a towel while speaking in Korean, she started to dry him off but he took the towel from her and cleaned himself off. She watched for a hot second before saying something while giving Sandy and me a scorn look. Uh-Uh, I know she ain't lookin at us like that. Just as I was about to say something, Joon gripped my thigh hard and I bit my lip hard so I wouldn't yell. I balled my fist and glared at him but he ignored that and kept eating. “Um” My head snapped to Sandy “Do we have a problem?” Sandy questioned with a slight mock as she raised an eyebrow. His aunt went to say something but Hae-In cut her off and gave her an icy glare, she shrunk a little then bowed before leaving us. Hae-In finished cleaning himself off and sat down in his seat again. It was silent until Hae-In decided to speak “You two are so, how do you say it,” he had a thoughtful look as he tapped his chin “oh yeah,” he snapped his fingers “petty.” He said flatly as he gave us both a blank stare. That caused me to smile, Sandy to snicker, and Joon to nod in agreement. Sandy shrugged as she picked up a slice of Kimchi Pancake “What can I say?” She smiled at me “It runs in the family.” She beamed before eating the slice.
