Yandy looked up from her books that were scattered across the table with a sigh. She couldn’t concentrate for nothing. Her mind kept racing back to Joon and this ridiculous predicament he got her into. She was regretting it now, she received nasty comments on her i********: photos which she responded to by saying “Pull up”, “You can’t beat my a*s tho?”, or swiftly blocking them. Her responses didn’t help so she had to private her page for now.
She rested her chin in her hand as she looked out onto the quad, watching students rush or casually stroll across to get to their destination. Some had faces with worry and others were calm. She stopped herself from wondering about their lives. She had a final to study for, she took a deep breath before going over the study guide for her accounting final.
She thought he got a break through but it was short lived when she felt the table move. She glared at whoever sat across from her. Speak of the devil, she thought as she made eye contact with Joon.
“Can’t get enough of me?” She asked with a flirty smile.
Joon blinked at her before looking at her scattered books “Studying?” He asked even though it was obvious.
He was on his way to the meeting spot he and his friends agreed on an hour early, he was going their early for his peace of mind. He was glancing around the quad when he noticed Yandy sitting at one of the tables. At first he was going to leave her alone because he thought he would be the last person she would want to see.
He snooped through Yandy’s social media accounts and saw how she was thrown negative comments about them bring together. He was amused by how she responded and wish he could like every comment. He still didn’t appreciate the way they were calling her out her name so found their IP address and would let Lee deal with them.
She seemed troubled so he thought against it and wanted to see what was going on with her. The closer he got the more his curiosity rose because of her facial expression. He also wondered why she hadn’t noticed him yet, according to Trey all blacks people had a 7th sense.
Yandy stared at the problem again but nothing was making sense, she groaned inwardly before looking at Joon. Wait, she tilt her head, didn’t he brag about being supper smart or something?
“Joon” he hummed “did you take Accounting?” He nodded “What you make?” She leaned in on the table.
“An A.” He states proudly “I took Dr. Peters in the spring.”
Her eyes widen, Dr. Peters was the hardest teacher on campus according to rate my professor and passing his class with an A was nearly impossible. She was really impressed by this.
She cleared her throat and sat up straight “Joon.” She purred “Don’t you want to be the best boyfriend and help her girlfriend out.” She cooed.
He had no problem with helping her but he was short on time.
“What do I get out of it?” He asked with a tilt of his head. She inwardly scoffed in disbelief, me being your f*****g fake girlfriend should be enough!
She gave him a sweet smile “Me not breaking up with you.” She said sweetly.
His lip twitched up, he knew she would respond like that.
“What do you need help with?” He asked as he glanced at her note books.
“Oh,” she paused before pushing two notebooks towards him “Chapter 7 and 9 I don’t get and I need to review chapter 10.” She explained.
He glanced at his watch, seeing he had 40 minutes til the meet up. Looking through her notebooks he knew he was going to need more that an hour to help her. He took his phone out and sent a quick text telling his friends to delay it by an hour.
“Alright.” He put his phone down “I’ll help you with 7 and 9.” He said as he grabbed her worksheet “Then you will do this on your own.” He explained, she agreed “Ok,” he grabbed her notebook for chapter 7 “So in chapter 7-”
She gave him a big smile before actually listening to him. It took forty-seven minutes to finish both chapters now all that was left to do were the worksheets for those chapters.
Yandy was smart, sensible and caught on quick. He watched her try to work through the worksheet and noticed how the sun hit her face at this angle, making her skin glow. She really is pretty, he thought then furrowed his eyebrows at that thought, why did I-
“Hyung!” Joon tilted his head and glanced around to see who had called out to him while Yandy just stared at him confused.
Joon spotted his two friends, wondering why they were here. He checked the time and saw that they were 30 minutes early.
He watched as they sat next to Yandy, comfortably. He didn’t like it while Yandy didn’t mind. Since Hae-In sat next to her, he turned to give her a friendly smile which she returned.
“Hey Yandy.” Lee greeted with a flirty smile.
Yandy spared Lee a glance and gave him a lazy wave. He pouted as he sat in his seat. She went back to the worksheet while the three of them started speaking in Konglish.
Her phone started to ring and she saw that it was Sandy, her twin sister calling then looked at the time, she was late. They were supposed to take pictures for their Instagrams today and she nearly forgotten.
“Shit.” She cursed, making the three of them look at her “Hey-” she answered
“You’re late.” Sandy stated bluntly.
“Yeah,” Yandy replied as she started gathering her things “I’m on my way now.”
“Don’t bother.” Sandy said, making Yandy furrow her eyebrows as she stopped “We see you right now.” She looked around “With a table full of hotties.” Sandy tsk.
Yandy rolled her eyes “It ain’t even like that.” She huffed as she plopped back down.
“Yeah yeah.” Sandy muttered before hanging up.
Yandy could always spot her twin in a crowd, mainly because she was tall and had on an outrageous outfit. She spotted them a few feet away and smirked at them when they approached the table.
“What’s up lover boy.” Nidia cooed as she and Sandy stood next to the table.
Joon lip twitched up as he looked at them, he nodded his head as a Hey while they took up the seats next to him.
Yandy shook her head when she noticed it was Nidia that sat next to him. She felt anxious but pushed it away.
Joon tapped her notebook to get her attention, she blinked and looked at him.
“What’s the answer?” He asked. While those two were in their own world, the other four was sizing each other up.
“Hey Lover boy,” Nidia called out to Joon, not breaking eye contact with Hae-In “introduce us to your friends.” She ordered him with a smile.
Joon turned his head to Nidia, wondering why she casually called out to him until he saw the situation. He fold his arms as he narrowed his eyes at them.
“Nidia, Sandy.” He looked at the two girls as he leaned into the table “These are my friends and roommates Yoo Hae-In” Hae-In waved his hand “and Lee Suk-Sung.” Lee nodded his head, Joon then looked at his friends “Lee, Hae-In” he glanced at them “this is Yandy’s sister Sandy” Sandy gave a slight smile at her name “and their roommate and friend Nidia.” Nidia gave a flirty smile.
Lee didn’t take his eyes off of Nidia “Are they off limits?” He asked with his arms folded.
The two girls looked at him confused by the language he spoke while Joon gave him a confused look “Since when did you care about that?” Joon scoffed.
Hae-In nodded in agreement while Lee got comfortable in his seat, deciding who should he go for between the two women in front of him. He didn’t like tall girls that much so he knew not to pay much attention to Sandy. Hae-In usually didn’t mess around with girls that he would have a chance running into again so he kept it civil.
Sandy was typing away on her phone, slightly ignoring them while Nidia looked between Hae-In and Lee. Nidia’s eyes searched their faces, deeming them both good for a f**k. Sandy put her phone down and decided to give everyone her attention. She gave Hae-In and Lee a glance over, she wasn’t that interested in them seeing as she usually didn’t mess around outside her race.
The four of them hopped into a conversation, trying to feel each other out. Joon watched in curiosity before putting his attention back on Yandy. He noticed Yandy seemed distracted by them so he started gathering up her books.
Yandy blinked back when he shut her book “What are you doing?” She asked with narrowed eyes.
He stacked her books “I’m taking you to a quiet place so you can study.” He answered.
She glanced at the four on her left, they not noticing them at all.
She sighed, “Fine.” She got up.
All four looked at them when Joon stood up as well.
“Where y’all going?” Sandy asked as she rest her chin in the palm of her hand.
“Too a quiet spot.” Joon replied making Nidia and Lee smirk.
“Y’all mad distracting.” Yandy added.
Sandy scoffed “Yeah yeah, go bust a nut so Lee can take our pics.” She waved them off.
Yandy gaped at her sister, not even catching the last part of her sentence. She tilt her head slightly, honestly she wasn’t thinking about that and just wanted help but if they were going to a quiet place she could get more out of it.
Joon rolled his eyes inwardly, being around Nidia and Sandy he noticed that they teased based off of others reactions. So he thought the less he showed the less they’ll tease, so far it wasn’t working.
“We can take the pictures now.” Nidia pipped in “then you can bust your nut after.” She smiled.
Yandy shrugged “Fine.” She looked at Joon “Are you coming or do you want me to meet you…” she trailed off because she didn’t know where he was taking her.
He glanced at everyone before focusing on Yandy and nodding.
Lee looked at Hae-In “Are you coming, Hyung?” He asked with a tilt of his head.
Hae-In gave him a fake smile “Does it look like I have a choice?” He questioned with a tilt of his head
Joon stifled his laugh by putting his finger over his top lip.
Lee snorted as he got up “Where did you want to take the pictures at again?” He asked.
Nidia grabbed his hand “This way.” She chimed and started to drag him to the spot.
Seven minutes later, they all arrived to the spot Nidia deemed perfect for their pictures. The three of them decided which pose they should do and who should go first. This shoot lasted almost an hour and Joon was beyond bored. He could name 15 other things he could be doing besides this.
Hae-In on the other hand was calm about it but he felt the same. He wanted to eat with his friends then take a nap before going out to help with his other partners.
They both watched as the girls huddled around Lee, praising him on his skills. Lee glanced over his shoulder at his two Hyungs with a crooked smirk. Hae-In scoffed as Joon rolled his eyes
“This little punk.” Hae-In laughed out.
“He’s cocky these days.” Joon noted.
Hae-In fold his arms “He’s been pulling a lot of girls these days, so he got a big head.” He tapped his temple.
Joon shook his head “His d**k’s going to fall off.” Joon predicted.
“Not before he catch something.” Hae-In countered.
Yandy gave Lee her number after he promised to send the pictures she choose. She walked toward Joon and Hae-In then stood in the middle of them. All three of them watched the other three as long they started speaking lively.
The three of them got along well, too well. Joon could see how Mischievous Sandy could be but she also knew when to stop but the other two, they didn’t have any bounds. Yandy and Hae-In thought the same. If Sandy wasn’t with them, she fold her arms, I feel like they could get into some s**t. I-
“I feel like it’s a bad idea.” Hae-In voiced her thoughts. The other two agreed with nods.
