“Yo Yandy.” I looked away from the lyrics and to Nidia who was peeking into the room “You ready?” She asked.

I reread the line I was on then sat the lyrics down on the dresser “Yes.” I answered as I admired myself one last time before getting out of my seat.

She looked me over and smiled “Girl you look fine as fuck.” She complimented “That color of blue really suits you.” She added.

I was decked out in a long baby blue layered fringed dress with a fur shawl along with a finger-wave wig and a headband to match the 1920’s aesthetic .

I pretend to flip my hair over my shoulder “Thank you girl.” I chimed as I spun around “But lowkey I really like this dress. I can even twerk in it.” I said then twerked a little.

“Aaaayyyyye.” Nidia hyped me up “Alright, alright let’s go.”
