Unexpected encounter
I woke with the sound of my phone and stretched my hand to pick up the phone from the bedside table.
"Hello Mommy" It was my son with his sweet baby-like voice.
"Hello my love and Good Morning, are you ready for school?" I asked him, today he did not make a call but did a video chat.
"Yes Mommy I am ready to see, you know what I had in breakfast today?" He asked me like it was a big secret, It must be Maggie because that was his favorite food.
"No, mama can't guess, what did nana cook for you hmm," I asked him because I wanted him to spoil his suspense.
"I had maggie and orange Juice," he said and started grinning.
"oh wow nana is cooking good food for Aiden daily, did you say thank you to nana hmm," I asked because he was small, he needed to learn
