CHAPTER4:ACCUSED

Celine was cowering in a corner,while the the thug on the ground had a bleeding wound in the head was clearly unconscious.

Claire looked around in confusion,it seems that she was not hurt at all but frightened.After a few seconds of hesitation,collin rushed to the thug and landed a heavy blow on his unconscious body,he quickly found a cloth near ur and draped it over Celine’s body,helping and guiding to her bed to sit.

As soon as she leaned against the head of the bed,she suddenly remembered their plan and suddenly turned her head to claire angrily saying,”claire it’s you,you brought a thug to harm me u filthy b***h,what have I ever done to deserve this?”

Claire frowned standing admits the wreckage,exuding an air of cold elegance.upon hearing those words,she didn’t get angry,she turned to Collin”sister is indeed clever not allow that dirty thug get his way,However if somethin like this spread outside,who knows what type of rumors will circulate.collin you don’t happen to care about my sister,do you?”

Collin suddenly stiffend as he held unto Celine’s hand.at this moment the noise in the corridor grew louder and closely.

Claire secretly smiled codly.

Knowing that another supporting character was on her way in tonight’s drama and was about to make a dramatic entrance.

As soon as her step mother saw the scene,she froze In shock.”who wants to harm my daughter?”Her gaze suddenly shot towards claire angrily who was standing in one corner smiling secretly.

Claire felt the cold stare and looked up to meet a terrifying gaze ready to pounce on her.

“Long time no see,Aunt Rebecca.”she said

Rebecca didn’t notice the oddity in her greeting,she glanced at her daughter and exchanged a glance with Collin.she quickly got into play and suppressed palpitations.

“My poor daughter who would do this to you?Quick someone catch that ruffian who wanted to harm my celine!surround the scene no one is allowed to leave this scene! James!james!,our daughter as been violated.

James the head of the house,rushed in immediately his face in absolute shock.

“Miss,let me touch ur soft body ,let me feel it please”the thug said dazedly

That statement almost made everyone gag.

Claire smirked.

Celines face turned pale immediately at those words,it made her nauseous and had a strong feeling that something was wrong,this was not there plan!.

Celine was embarrassed,covering her face she burst into tears in her moms hands wailing in the large room.

James was angry at the sight.”wake this thug right now!”he shouted angrily

As soon as he spoke,a bucket of water was poured over the thug and woke up immediately shivering.

Several ice cubes,came out shocking Rebecca,where did ice cube come from?

Rebecca strared at the steward in confusion.

“We were scraping ice from the freezer when we heard a loud commotion upstairs and rushed over immediately forgetting I had a bucket of ice in my hand”the steward explained quickly

I didn’t expect it to come in handy,Rebecca said fiercely.

The thug wiped his face which was as red as if he had just had a fever.He shuddered and got up from the floor only to be pressed down again and forced to kneel down.

The thug looked around and his eyes met with Claire’s,he instantly shifted the blame on her.”miss Claire please save me,u promised to pay me when the job is done,I have done what you ask me to do and cannot just abandon me like that”he begged

The statement caused commotion instantly,looking at claire in anger .

“Do u care to explain?”james said in anger

Claire was disappointed,she could not believe her father did not think twice before asking her that question.”father,so u actually think I will harm my sister,what am I going to gain in harming her father?”she sadly said.

James was taken aback.

Celine was in tears,accusing her “if you didn’t do anything why would the thug point at anyone else but you,you may be arrogant on a daily basis,why do u have to harm me ,what have I ever done to you to deserve all these”celine said sobbing more tears.

“Is it because I married ur father and took ur biological mother’s place?,she’s just innocent,it’s my fault.Rebecca said sobbing.

“I’ve treated you like my own daughter,I didn’t hold any grudge against you,even if you can’t harm me why will you harm your own sister for Christ sake.

“Celine also treated u like her sister,she was overjoyed about your upcoming wedding and she was up all night preparing for it.why would you have to harm her!”rebecca continued.

Although her words seemed to plead innocence,they were laced with accusations aimed directly at claire.

Rebecca’s face was filled with sarcasm.

In her past life,she suffered in the hands of celine and her mom.This woman was a very wicked and a manipulative woman when it came to struggling in the society of the wealthy.

All the suspicions James feared was fake was actually true.”claire what do u have to say at this point?.”james said angrily at claire waiting for an explanation from her.But no response.”I indulged u all through this years and forgave all ur mistakes.But now u have committed a grave error and I will never forgive you for this.you will be arrested and put in prison for this and when I have seen that u are change after ur release ,I may decide to take u back into the family.”
