Adrian's apology attracted the attention of the entire class who gasped and straightened in their seats with alarmed eyes. Adrian was kneeling before Lucian, the poor scum of the school?! Why the hell? Pfft…this had to be the most ridiculous sight ever.
Ignoring the surprised reaction of his classmates, Lucian chuckled and titled his head to the sides, like he was in deep thought. He snapped a finger at Adrian. “I'm sorry, but can I hear you say that again? It sounded like real comedy,”
“Are you messing with me right now?” Adrian gritted, his voice filled with anger as embarrassment washed over him.
“I wouldn't if you didn't look like a mess,” Lucian shrugged with a mocking smile. “You'd rather repeat your apology than allow your Dad rot in jail. Go on before I lose my patience,”
