“He collapsed two weeks ago and was rushed to the hospital. The doctor diagnosed it to be liver failure and right now, he needs a donor since neither I or Dion are a match,” Her voice cracked as she tried to hold back her tears. “H…his condition seems to deteriorate each day, and…”
Lucian's heart broke into tiny pieces and so badly he wanted to punch himself for being such a fool. Riley had been going through hell for the past few weeks and all he was concerned with was pushing her away? How could he be so clueless and so self-centered!
