_Zephyr’s POV_ “Zephyr, what are you hiding?” I couldn’t breathe. Kael’s words hung in the atmosphere like a blade pressed to my throat. His voice was calm but filled with suspicion. And that was what terrified me the most. I turned slightly, clutching the torn edge of my shirt so tightly my knuckles turned white.
