_Zephyr’s POV_ I woke up long before the sun. Maybe it was around two or three in the morning. I didn’t even check the time. I just knew I couldn’t sleep. My body was tired, but my mind wouldn’t stop running. Kael’s words kept echoing in my head. “I don’t need someone weak.” “Too soft. Too feminine.” I wanted to scream for no reason. But instead, I pushed the covers off and stood up. My dorm room was dark and quiet. Everyone else was probably still fast asleep. I threw on a hoodie and lurkers, then snuck out.
