Bella's POV
“I will.”
With that, he walked out of the room, leaving me in despair once again as he locked the door shut.
“Hey!” I yelled, banging on the door. “I thought you said you were gonna let me out! Fucker!” I yelled even louder but when he didn't come back, I slid down the wall in frustration.
I hated it here.
My wolf let out a soft whine and I hissed in annoyance.
“I don't care if you like that big bully. This isn't our home. We have to leave to protect Dad.” I muttered in frustration and then let out a sigh as I made my way to the bed.
The door opened an hour later, and I watched in shock as two bulky men brought in a huge TV, placing it on the TV shelf. Kael followed behind them, a satisfied look on his face as he watched them fix it till it worked.
“What is this about?” I asked in confusion when the men walked out and Kael closed the door shut.
“Well, you said you were bored. I'm bringing you a TV to cure your boredom.” He replied, a smug expression on his face and I almost couldn't believe my eyes.
“You could just let me go!!” I said in frustration and his gaze darkened. “I've done everything you want. I've sucked your f*****g c**k. I've made the video like you wanted me to, why won't you let me go?”
“Oh, you've not done everything I want princess.” He said, approaching me and I swallowed hard as I took multiple steps backwards.
“What else do you want from me? What do I need to do to get my freedom?” I asked in a whisper as my back hit the wall and he pinned me to it.
“You need to earn it. Earn your freedom. I doubt your father is coming to save you, little one.” He muttered, his fingers brushing my cheeks and I looked away. “He doesn't care about you.”
“That's a lie.” I retorted with a lump in my throat as my eyes watered. “My father loves me.”
“Does he?” He asked in amusement. “It's been what, four, five days since you went missing? Why did he never bother to search for you?”
“He couldn't have known you took me!” I yelled in despair, knowing that he was right but I didn't want to believe it.
“Wrong. He knows. He's always known all along.” His voice was as smooth as silk but every word he said hit me like a dagger. “The video you made hours ago? Why isn't he here yet? Should I tell you the answer?”
“Stop. Just stop it.” I begged, tears rolling down my cheeks now. “He loves me. He'll come for me. I mean everything to him. You're just a bastard who doesn't know what fatherly love means because you don't have one.”
My blood ran cold when I realized what I just said and his gaze darkened with fury as he stared at me.
“What did you just say?” He questioned, his pheromones filling the room that it started to choke me.
“I… I didn't mean—”
“I dare you to f*****g say that again.” He growled in fury as he grabbed my neck and I gasped in shock.
“No, please… forgive me, Kael.” I begged, my heart sinking when I saw that his eyes had already changed colours and he could just snap my neck.
I'd die almost immediately.
I was doomed.
“A bastard with no fatherly love? A mere omega like you had the audacity to call me that?” He asked with great difficulty while I choked, trying to pry his hands off me. “Do you know who made me fatherless?”
His veins were popping out as he spoke, and I could tell that he was trying to hold himself back.
“I'm… sorry! I'm so sorry!”I begged, struggling to get out of his grip but he was just too strong as his grip only tightened.
My vision was already blurring but he still didn't let go.
“Your father made me fatherless.” He groaned and finally let me go, making me cough hard as I sucked in oxygen, grateful that I was still alive.
What did he mean?
“You crossed the line, princess.” His voice was cold and flat as he crouched down to my level and grabbed my hair, making me flinch.
“I didn't mean to—”
“And now. You will face the punishment.”
