The party hurried along a yellow-lit black path between the bases of two of the buildings, the stink of industry hanging in the air like a fog. Eva wanted to retch. “Movement, in the distance behind us,” Scope announced, walking sideways. Eva followed his cameras on her visor. There was definitely motion back there, something big. It was closing in on them. “We have no choice,” Janus decided. “Run for it. Follow me and stay close.” Janus broke into a sprint, Eva close behind him.
