Chapter 4
Tom's POV
I couldn't believe she was back. I couldn't believe that she was here. I couldn't comprehend the fact that these 4 years were probably the worst 4 years of her life.
I just wanted to go find that sorry excuse of a human and squeeze the life out of him.
God, it makes me so angry that Cindria wants me to forget what he did to her. Like is she insane? I feel like shaking her bruised body and shouting at her that that man was the reason why we were separated and that now her body was filled with bruises and scars.
But at the same time, I feel like kissing the life out of her and holding her so close to me so that everybody will know that she's mine.
And if they harm her, then they would be as good as dead.
I'm not stupid, I know she's covered in bruises and scars everywhere, but I didn't want to embarrass her anymore.
I'd see them in my own time.
I wanted her to tell me about all the details that happened to her but I knew she'd only tell me what I wanted to hear and not what I needed to.
Because of that, I'd be forced to use Legilimency on her sooner or later if she doesn't tell me what I need to hear.
Right now, I'm currently waiting for her in the common room to take her down to the Great Hall. I was serious about not letting her out of sight and I knew it was not pure luck that she was sorted into Slytherin.
A thin line is holding me back from running to the girl's dormitory and grabbing her.
As I said before, I'm a very selfish person when it comes to things I like.
Especially Cindria.
It was Saturday, so a lot of the students were outside or in the library. I had told my followers earlier that I would be busy and not to bother me.
Cindria was much more important and of greater value than those idiots.
I turned around when I heard a sound coming from the girl's dormitory and I was glad to see that it was Cindria. She had her hair in a braid down her back with a few strands loose and her bangs parted ways next to her eyes.
She was wearing her school robes even though she didn't have too.
"Hey, Tom! I'm sorry did I make you wait?" She asked while skipping to me in a giddy matter. I shook my head and fixed her robes; they had become crooked when she came skipping over.
"Did you sleep well?" I asked while taking her hand and leading her out of the common room.
"Best sleep I had in years," she answered truthfully.
Some students lingered in the halls; they all stared at either Cindria or our intertwined hands. Some even had the audacity to point and whisper.
"Tom, I'm guessing that you're very popular," Cindria whispered while pressing herself closer to me. The girls were glaring at her and whispering, ugly vermins didn't deserve my attention.
I released Cindria's hand and she stared at me in fear, she probably thought that I'd ditch her.
The thought of her thinking like that pisses me off.
Sure we haven't been together for four years, but it doesn't mean that my feelings changed or anything.
I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her even closer, this made the whispering louder but I didn't give a damn.
Let them try and hurt Cindria; I'd break their fingers before they can even lay a hand on her.
Hell, I'd break more than their fingers.
Cindria seemed to relax into me and I could only sigh in relief. I imagined meeting her anywhere but here, this makes it all perfect.
Sure, I despise every muggle and muggle-born, but I'd made an exception with Cindria.
She was important and suffered at the hands of cruel muggles more than I. Now that she's a witch, this just proves that all muggles are terrible disgusting people who like to make other people suffer.
They will pay. I'll make sure they do.
We finally reached our destination and I smiled just a bit when I saw that the Slytherin table was empty with only two other students who were studying all the way at the end of the table.
They too looked over at Cindria and my arm that was around her waist and gaped like fishes on the surface. They immediately got up and ran out the Great Hall, surely to tell the other Slytherins what they just saw.
I sat Cindria down and a plate of food appeared right in front of her. I wish I could capture the expression on her face and save it forever. She flinched instantly and I could only chuckle a bit.
"Relax, it's only food. It won't eat you, that's actually your job," I said while taking my own plate.
"Is it real food?" she asked with her eyes wide.
Was she always this damn adorable?
"Yes, yes it is," I said while taking a spoonful of her cereal and stuffing it into her mouth. Only God knows how long she hasn't eaten real food and the thought of that made me furious.
Relax, Tom, she's here with you, and nobody will take her away from you ever again.
She was mine.
"Tom, this is amazing!" she said while grabbing the spoon from my hand and eating her food at maximum speed.
"I haven't eaten delicious food since forever!" she said while finishing her plate. I pushed my plate towards her and she stared at me in awe.
"Tom, I couldn't," Cindria began but I waved her off.
"Relax there's enough food to go around," I said while taking a piece of toast and biting into it.
After finishing both our plates, Cindria held her flat stomach in content and I could only smile at how happy she was.
"So when do I get to meet your friends?" she asked while looking around the Great Hall in awe. I lifted her chin up and she let out an astonished gasp when she saw the enchanted ceiling.
"I don't have friends, I have followers who do my bidding," I answered while getting up from the table.
Cindria looked up at me with a raised eyebrow.
"You said the same thing when I asked 4 years ago," she said while shaking her head laughing. "Am I your friend?"
"Is that even a question?" I scoffed while grabbing her hand and lifting her from her seat.
Only a few students and teachers were in the Great Hall, but none of them were paying attention to us once we sat down on the table.
"What do you say about a tour of the castle?" I asked knowing her reaction full well.
She stared at me in awe making me feel as if I was the best person alive and asked in her girlish soft voice.
"Can we?"
I nodded and dragged her out of the Great Hall with a few stares eying our backs in curiosity.
