ESCAPING THE DEMON REALM

Rihana's point of view-

I found out the truth that these demons wanted me as their queen for their stupid rules though I was unable to find  further information about it because I was afraid that I might get caught , so, I left the place as soon as possible but I found out that I had to marry the arrogant, ruthless ' demon lord' for this stupid rituals.

 I was beyond furious I trusted Aaryaan , Rose and Diana , I thought they were my friends and I could trust them but no they were not reliable and I could not trust them any more, they did not think a bit about my feelings. If I did not hear it accidentally then I  would never know about their plans. Marriage was not a plaything or drama at least not for humans , I  did not know anything about supernatural creatures marriage but it seems they did not bother about feelings I though to myself because if they really cared about my  feelings , then they did not make a plan to marry  me  with a stranger for some stupid rituals. 

 I feet furious as I do not like that stupid,  arrogant  and rude 'Demon Lord' a bit and I do not want to talk to him if it is not necessary and  marrying him is not even an option  even if he is the last one available for me as my groom is this whole universe, I would prefer to be single forever. But what I would do? I do not have much information about 'Demon Realm' but I am sure that I have to make a escape plan from here as soon as possible. 

  Suddenly I remembered yesterday when Rose was talking to me she mentioned something about a secret  hidden gate which was present in a place of 'Demon Realm' and few low level demons and other super naturals creature open that gate using some spell or magic and went to the earth using it, I heard that Rose use that gate to go to earth to meet her family members in mermaid kingdom in ocean in earth and that gate was placed using magic of Demon council's member and Demon Lord 's power because creating a transportation portal is very difficult job and humans,  earthling supernatural creatures and low level demons are unable to make  transportation spell or strong enough transportation spell  to go to earth from demon realm  , so to help them the 'Demon Council ' and 'Demon Lord' made this gate. 

 I have to collect more information about this gate because this was my one and only hope and using that gate I can actually escape from these stupid demons and their stupid rituals. I want to go home , I miss my family.  

I calmed myself down and started to walk towards my room in ' Demon Castle' , suddenly I heard a voice "Rihana where are you have been for such a long time??" I knew that it was Diana. I was angry and I did not want to talk to her but somehow I manage to control my anger because I knew that any wrong steps from me could lead me to fall for their trap permanently. I reminded myself that I had to take my next steps carefully and had to make a solid plan to escape this demon realm because I could not trust anybody here.So, I spun around and faced Diana,  "Rose said you came to look for Aaryaan , why do not you come in his room?" Diana asked me.

I was speechless for the moment  I did not know what to say now but I heard Rose's voice at the moment and she said "Lady Diana it is actually my fault , I did not instruct her properly , thats why  she might got lost at the palace."

I looked at her and saw her face ,she was speaking casually , I did not know why she lied for me because she clearly show me the path and instructed properly  about  Aaryaan's room.

Diana looked at me and then at Rose and said "Oh, Let's go Rihana, Aaryaan will be leaving soon , so meet him." and then she looked at Rose and said "I will leave her in her room, go and do your work, you do not have to wait for her."

"Okay , my lady ," Rose bowed before her and left the place.

I was unwillingly followed Diana and came to Aaryaan's room I practically did not want to meet Aaryaan , I trusted him as my friend but he also betrayed me but I did not not show it in my face directly because I have to ecape this demon realm.

Aaryaan saw me then he smiled and said "Take care, thanks for coming to say good bye to me." 

"Take care," I said to him with a fake smile.

Then we bid good bye to each other and Diana transported me to my room and then she left me in my room ad said she would come very soon to accompany, I did not care she would come or not , I did not want fake people in my life.

After Diana left me in my room , I thought about my situation, I was kidn*pped a few days ago and now if I did not able to escape this demon realm soon then I had to marry an arrogant demon whom I did not like a bit, all my life I decided that I will marry when I will find my true love, now I do not know what will happen to me. I did not even realise when my eyes was filled with tears and it started to flow like a stream. until I heard the voice of Rose "Rihana do not cry, please..."

But I did not respond , why would I ? she also lied to me,each and everyone here cheated me and played with my emotion.

Rose came in front of me and she was about to wipe my tears ,I caught her hand and refrained her from doing that and pushed her a bit.

Rose sighed and said to me "Rihana stop acting like a child I can feel your pain."

"No , you can't feel me , you are not the one who is about to marry a stranger, you are not the one who is about to marry a rude , arrogant demon and most importantly I do not love him, then how can I marry him? you can't feel me, you can't feel  this is how it  actually feels when you feel cheated and betrayed,.  so you will never understand me," I yelled at her with anger.

 "Yes, you are right I can't understand your pain, you are about to marry a person whom you do not love but I married a person who is my mate and my love , he mated with me completed the mating procedure, I left my world for him come to this demon realm because it is his home, his world.  Then I gave birth to our child but it reveal that my child is a merman not a demon who can't help him maintain his status in demon society , he think that our child is a burden , so he abandoned me and my child and he mated again with a chosen mate, a noble female demon and married her. You are right I can't feel your pain and I do not know how it  exactly feel when you are cheated and betrayed," Rose said to me in calm voice but I felt her pain in it.

I was stunned by her revelation, she took the chance and wiped my tears and said "Do not worry Rihana , if you do not want to marry , I will help you to escape the demon realm."

"You will help me to escape the demon realm!!!" I said to her.

"I will because if there is no love in a relationship, then it is useless," Rose said to me.

"May I ask you a question ," I said to her.

"What do you want to know ? My story?" she asked me.

"Yes , I want to know but if it will cause you more pain then you do not have to tell me," I said to her.

"I want to share it with you, actually I feel lonely in this demon world , i do not have many friends here with whom actually I can share my pain," She said to me.

"You can consider me as your friend ," I said to her.

"I know," She said.

Then Rose started to tell me about her story;

" Fifty years ago I met Alan  in earth, I was just eighteen years old then , I felt a strong aura around him, we both found that we are mates and I realised that he was a demon and I told her that I was a mermaid, instantly I fell in love with him after all 'Sea -Goddess ' chooses him for me but he told me that if I wanted to be with him, then I had to move with him in demon realm, he was a demon  warrior , we immediately mated with each other. As demons are very  s****l  creature. I could not imagine my life without him , so , I left ocean ,my home not only that I left earth with him and relocate myself in this demon realm,  here we completed all rituals as mate and then we started to leave together. After three years I gave birth to  my baby boy Rannan after three years when demon children acquire their power we realised that Rannan did not have any power , at first we thought that  because I was not a demon ,there would be delay in it. From that time Alan started to neglect me." Rose then paused for few minutes., I understood her pain, I took her left hand and and slightly squeezed it to comfort her.

Rose then started again;

"Alan is powerful demon warrior, he wants to achieve higher post in demon army and he wants a strong demon male child who can be a strong warrior like him , so that he can be a proud father, but when Rannan becomes five years old, we find out that he is a merman like me and he has no place in demon army and Alan considers Rannan as a weakling, he starts to hate me and my child, when Rannan becomes seven years old , I left him to my parents in my home 'Marania' one of the mermaid kingdom in earth ,  Alan started to beat me whenever he feels like , tortured me and after that I never got pregnant and one demon doctor confirmed that I became barren , so ,I was unable to give birth to any child anymore, after that news Alan started to torture me even more  and few years later he married a noble female demon Azura and they both started to treat me like s**t and after few years Azura give birth to a demon male child Aaraman, then one day worst day of my life came and Alan did not accept me as his mate anymore and he unofficially rejected me, I  had to bare the unbearable pain  every time whenever he did s*x with Azura and after that he thrown me out of his house , I was almost dead then 'Demon Lord 'find me when he was roaming in demon realm to look after his kingdom secretly and he rescued me and saved me and I became a maid in this demon castle  twenty years ago thus I started to earn my livelihood here and five years ago because of my good work I was promoted as head maid in this castle."

Rose's story made me so sad ,I felt her pain and agony,for few minutes we both remained silent and after that I broke the silence and said to  her "What do you mean by he rejected you unofficially? In werewolf stories  I read that sometimes the one mate can reject his mate and if the other one accepts the rejection, then they  both bare unbearable pain but if they want they can move on from the situation, at least these I read in few books, though I am not sure  it actually work like this or not!!" 

"No what you read in books is actually truth to some extent, in case of most earthling supernaturals one can reject his or her mate and other one will suffer and if the other one accepts the rejection then both will suffer unbearable pain and the bond between two will be severed and it happened in most of the cases though there is few exception but in case of demons that is another story thats why a demon's mate is known as soulmate, after finding a soulmate a demon has to perform a ritual and that rituals tied them forever and these bond can't be severed in anyway , if one of the mate is dead then only the bond can be cut forever, there is no other way," Rose said to me.

 Rose then suddenly opened  the buttons of her blouse , I was shocked  by her action but then I understood , she showed me left side of her breast beneath that skin a heart of someone is present and I saw a tattoo there ,a heart shape tattoo inside the heart there is a cage shaped structure, the tattoo is very uncommon , Rose then  adjusted her blouse properly.

I saw the tattoo but I did not understand  anything clearly, Rose cleared her throat and said to me ,"I know my action  bothered you, we shifters or supernaturals are not so much bothered about nudity but I know humans are not used  to it but I showed it to you to explain it more clearly , demons have to complete one rituals to complete the mating bond, it is a very important ritual in demon realm and once it is complete, no one can escape it, only if one mate is dead then the tattoo like mark will faded away from another mate and there is no verbal rejection possible , only if the one mate is dead then only the tatto like mark will be removed and it will confirm that the mate bond is completely severed between two soulmates. There is no other way around and according to demon realm rule, once you complete the ritual with your mate, you have to stay in demon realm or more particularly where your mate will stay you have to stay there."

Now I understand why Rose is compelled to stay in the demon realm.

"That is a awful rule!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, that is but no one can change it, if I want to go to "Marania" my home for forever, then Alan will go before the 'Demon council' and  a war will start between my kingdom and demons and demons are a lot powerful than mermaid or merman and we will loose the battle and a lot of innocent lives will suffer," Rose said to me in a sad voice.

I was about to ask more question but before that Rose stopped me and said," Enough about my life Rihana, my life is already destroyed but I do not want that the same thing will happen to you, I find a good friend in you, I do not want that you suffer like me, I want that you live a happy life, so, I will help you to escape from this world and we have to make a quick plan, there is not much time left."

"How I will do it?" I asked her.

"You remember yesterday I told you about the secret gate which is placed in a secret place in demon realm, I will take you there tomorrow morning, demons are night creature , so in morning no one will look after us ," Rose said to me.

"But , that place should be guarded with demon guards, how will we go there without them noticing us?" I asked Rose.

"No, there is no guard, because whenever any of us non-demons mate want to go to earth, we have to inform demon council and one of  demon council's representative accompanied us and we both jointly open the gate because the gate in the earth place in one of dangerous place in earth , I actually do not know where it is place in earth," Rose said to me.

I gave her a confused look and she sighed and said " Thats why one demon council member accompanied us and using there magic stone they relocate the gate in the earth near our home, like incase of me they relocate the gate in "Marania" when I went to earth but after few minutes the gate was relocated in its original location in earth and its serve two purpose we non demon creatures need help of demon council every time and they have some sort of control over us," Rose explained to me.

"What about low level demons?" I asked Rose.

"They do not need permission, they can go whenever they want, actually low levels demons are capable to use transportation spell but the spell is not strong enough to transport them from demon realm to earth, but in demon realm or earth they can transported themselves from one place to another place," Rose explained me again.

"Oh, I understood but how do you know that the gate in the earth situated in a dangerous place?" I asked Rose.

"Because two years ago a human mate of one demon solider work in this castle as maid, one day she had some argument with her mate and angrily she went to the gate and open it and went to earth but she almost died because the place is very dangerous and survival in that place is very difficult , thankfully her mate reach her in time otherwise she would not survive," Rose said to me.

"But you said you need permission of demon council to open the gate right?" I asked her.

Rose closed her eyes  and mumbled something and a green colour stone appeared in her right palm, the stone was truly magical ,I looked at it in awe , Rose said to me " No we do not need their help to open the gate , the gate can be open with this stone and every non-demon mate of any demons received this stone from demon lord , he created this stone using his magic we need help of the demon council to relocate the gate in the earth near our home or in a safe place," Rose explained.

"So, you can open the gate for me and I can go to the earth, right......" I said to her.

"Yes,I can do that but the place is dangerous where the gate is placed in the earth," Rose said to me.

"Can you asked the human girl where is the place ?" I asked her.

"No, because that human girl probably did not know where is the place, because she already passed out when her mate reach her probably out of fear, and she had few bruises here and there in her body and secondly that girl did not live here anymore they came from kingdom of Abysm, one out of the eight demon kingdom in demon realm and she returned there with her mate, actually in every year some demon warrior and female demons or non demon mates of any demon  come to demon castle to serve the demon lord from all of the eight kingdom and when there duty ends they returned to their kingdom, "Rose said to me.

"The name of the Kingdoms are very weird," I said to Rose.

"Yeah but this place where this castle is situated has most weird name  ,"Rose said to me.

" What is the name of this place?" I asked Rose.

"Hell," Rose said to me.

I gave her a bewildered look and said "What?"

"Yes, and this castle is known as castle of hell" Rose said to me.

Rose changed the topic and said " now the most important thing is even if I opened the gate, how are you going to survive in that danger place?" 

One plan suddenly came to my mind and I asked Rose "Can you clearly and loudly speak some kind of spell ?"

"What?" Rose asked me.

"Please do it, " I requested her and took my phone , I opened the recorder application  pressed the recorder button when Rose chanted a spell and immediately stop recording when the spell ended. 

I then opened my locket and played the recorded spell and as Aaryaan instructed earlier exactly follow his instruction to record it in the magical recorder, and successfully recorded it in the free green space .

Rose was curiously watching my every move, I sighed closed my eyes and and used the currently stored magic in the magical recorder and as soon as I completed the whole process, Rose screamed "Oh my God!!"

"What happened Rose? Did the magic spell work properly?" I asked her.

"Yeah , saw yourself in the mirror you will understand," Rose said to me.

I went to in front of mirror and looked at myself  but I could not able to saw myself in the mirror, I was super confused, then I understand it was actually a invisible spell, but I got panicked only one space left in the magical recorder and I planned to record one transportation spell in it , so when I reached the earth , I could use it to transport myself to my home.

I asked Rose in a panicked voice " I have to use one reversal spell to visible again right?"

"You can use it, but mermaids invisible spell are not strong so after twenty to thirty minutes later , you will start to visible again and within one hour you will be fully visible," Rose said to me.

I sighed in relief and said to her " Then I will wait for one hour."

Rose asked me again " can you please explain how did you able to perform this spell and what is your plan?"

I told her everything about magical recorder and how Aaryaan teach me its uses and what is my plan.

After that I asked Rose "Why don't you get  invisible when you use it?"

   Rose said to me "Because I do not thought in my mind that I am using the spell on myself or anyone , so it come out as only  word and there is no effect."

"Oh, but when it in this magical recorder it work . why?" I asked her.

"I was not sure but as per my understanding because it is just a recorder and general Aaryaan designed it in this way , the spell store in it  will always work whenever used by someone who hold it because it is a recorder , it has no thinking power  nor it has any will power," Rose explained.

"Oh, " I said to her it was the most possible logical explanation.

After thirty minutes , my left hand started to visible and slowly within one hour I was fully visible again, I asked her "Now most important thing , I need one transportation spell to record in my mobile phone then I will store it in the magical recorder and when I will reach the earth, I will use the transportation spell to go to my home, but the question is who will help me?"

"We have to trick one demon," Rose said to me.

"Who?" I asked her and Rose explained me her plan.

I nodded my head in agreement because I had no choice.

As per the plan few hours later I and Rose started to quarrel loudly and the demon servant Lia came to my room at the same time with water, it was all planned by me and Rose , when she saw I and Rose argued loudly , she tried to stop us and asked me"What is the problem my lady?"

 I said to her "that mermaid was defying my wish and told me that she could not able to use transportation spell , I want to take a tour in demon castle and she was saying that I had to walk to do so, why should I walk when you supernatural creatures are able to transport..."

"But Madam Rose is a mermaid she can't use that spell my lady," Lia said to me.

"You can use it right?" I asked her.

"Of course my lady, I am a demon," Lia said to me in a humble tone.

"Then speak it loud , I want to make sure that you are capable to use it then I will take a tour," I said to her.

Lia hesitated for few seconds but I gave her a stern expression and then she chanted the spell , " Gotcha!!!" I said in my mind and recorded it in my cell phone.

After finishing her hunting Lia said to me " can I give you a tour now my lady?"

I did not want any tour actually, i hate this demon castle so why would I want any tour here, but I know if I say no now Lia would be suspicious , so I agreed to her and after visiting few places in demon castle unwillingly I told Lia that I was feeling tired and she dropped me in my room, Rose was still waiting for me in my room and as soon as Lia left us in my room, I recorded the spell in magical recorder in the free yellow space.

Now i had to use it , I took a deep breath and finally used the spell and thought at my mind about one place I visited earlier with Lia in demon castle and when I opened my eyes I saw myself in standing at that place , I was about to scream in excitement but I checked myself with all my will power and transported back to my room using the spell again.

Rose hugged me instantly and said to me" I will take you to the gate tomorrow."

Rose then left my room  and instructed me to take proper rest.

Next Day Morning

When Rose came to my room I was already up and ready , I took my phone and wore the locket  and carefully placed the magical recorder in it.

Rose instructed me to use the invisible spell and I did it as per her instruction and I started to follow her and after almost one hour I reached a place in demon realm , which looked like a cave and a few torches were places here and there to overcome the darkness but truthfully the fire of the torches also looked scary then I saw the gate there , Rose mumbled the spell and the  magical green stone  appeared in her hand and the gate actually looked like a skull , Rose put the green stone on one of the  eye of the skull and the gate opened , I actually felt scared because it was actually a portal and I could not able to see through  the portal clearly, Rose squeezed my hand and assured me. 

Before I went to the portal I asked her "You will be safe here  right?" I was actually worried for her.

Rose assured me with a smile and said "Of course, I will be safe here, have a happy life Rihana."

I nodded my head gave her a smile and went to the portal,  when I reached  earth I was almost knocked out when I took step in the earth, the place is full of greenery and the gate placed in the earth looked like actually a huge tree and it felt like the tree opened and I came to the earth, but the place is really secluded , "where am I ?" I asked myself and it was not looking like morning, it was actually looking like dusk before the sunset. 

I calmed myself down , I finally escaped the demon realm and now I am in earth because the trees and soil in the place looks like earth,   I will  use the magical recorder and soon I will be in my home I thought in my mind.

Rose's POV -

I lied to Rihana that I would be safe in this demon realm, I knew that  Demon Lord  went to his another home to meet his dear ones and when he will return only death sentence will awaiting for me, but I was not afraid because I know loveless life can be a living hell and I do not want Rihana to face it, I took the photo from the pocket, my son Rannan's photo it is, I love my son so much, I am sad because I know probably I will not be able to see him anymore.

"I love you so much my baby boy," I murmured and kissed the face of my son on the photo.
