RIHANA'S POINT OF VIEW -
We both stood up and we started to walk in a particular direction and he was leading me where to go, this time he was walking slowly.
I asked him "Are you ok?"
"Why are you asking this?" he asked me back.
"You are walking slowly this time," I said to him.
He laughed and said, "Though I am feeling weak but still I can walk a lot faster than this, I am walking slowly so you can match with me."
"Oh, Thank you," I said to him.
"Friends do not say thanks to each other," he mimicked me and we both burst out laughing.
Suddenly he spun around and directly looked into my eyes for few seconds then he shook his head.
"What?" I asked him in confusion.
"Friends forever," he said to me.
I smiled and nodded my head in agreement, suddenly I remembered I did not even know his name, so I asked him "What is your name?"
He gave me an awkward smile because we both did not ask each other names till now.
"Matthew Fernandez," he said to me.
Before he could ask my name I did not give him any chance and said "Rihana Paul."
We smiled at each other and started to walking again after twenty-thirty minutes later we reached an area, Matthew stopped in front of a huge tree, I looked at the tree top and saw a small tree house there, it was already dark so I could not see it properly and perfectly.
"We have to stay there for a night because at night this place will become more dangerous," Matthew said to me.
I looked at the tree there was no ladder nor any staircase, I asked him, "How will we get there?"
He closed his eyes and lifted both his hand in the air and his hands move in such a direction as if he was pulling something, I was confusedly looking towards his hand and tried to process in my mind what was he doing!!
After approximately one and half minutes later one ladder made of rope suddenly came from the treetops which could help us to climb it and reach the treehouse, I was truly amazed how he did that!!
I looked at Matthew and asked him, "How? Can you also perform magic? Can all vampires perform magic?"
"Rihana, you asked so many questions at a time, " he said to me.
I scratched the back off my head and said "Sorry."
"It's ok and for your questions, no vampire can't perform magic, We possess 'gift' and it is one of my gift 'telekinesis," Matthew explained to me.
I was about to ask him more questions but before that, he said to me, "Once we reach up, you can ask me as many questions as you want but please let's climb up first, it's not safe here."
I nodded my head and he told me to climb up the rope ladder first. But I was poor in it and after few attempts, I was not able to do so. He tried to push me up but I was not able to climb up because the ladder was made of rope and it was constantly moving, so until you were very fit you could not able to climb it. I hated to admit it but I was always poor in sports and athletics.
I was ashamed of myself because for me Matthew was also not able to climb the rope because he did not want to leave me alone on the ground.
"Come down," Matthew said to me.
I obliged him immediately because I was only able to climb up two or three steps which are practically one and a half ft. from the ground.
Matthew looked at me and suddenly he held me by my waist and he closed his eyes, I was about to ask him what was he doing but suddenly I went up there with Matthew and stood on the balcony of the treehouse, I was shocked at first then I realized he was actually teleported us.
I was about to ask him more about it but before that, I heard a loud thud and he fell on the floor of the balcony, he was looking really weak, I sat beside him and asked him "What happened?"
"Pull the rope ladder," he managed to say it with a lot of difficulties.
I instantly did it and again I sat beside him few minutes had already passed but he was not looking better, I was worried for him.
"What happened to you? What should l do ?" I asked him.
"I will be fine," he said to me but I could clearly saw that he was not fine at all.
"Stop it, " I exclaimed.
"You are not fine at all, tell me what can I do so you will feel better?" I asked him.
"I need blood because I already lost a lot of blood and vervain and pearl mixed potion already entered my blood, so I need fresh blood," he said to me.
"Drink mine," I immediately said to him.
"No, I do not drink human blood," Matthew said to me with clenched teeth.
I looked around and saw the fencing of the balcony, it was made with metal and the tip of the fences were very sharp, I stood up and went towards the fence and pressed my wrist on the edge of a sharp fence and it cut open but I did it carefully so my major veins would not cut accidentally and walked back and sat again beside Matthew.
I put my cut open wrist in front of his mouth and said to him, "Drink it, you need it don't be stubborn, in this condition you are not able to hunt down an animal for blood."
Matthew's fangs came out from his mouth, he started to drink my blood and after one- or two minutes later he pulled his mouth and fangs disappeared then he wiped out blood from his lips using his thumb, I was feeling a little dizzy.
I looked at him his other wounds disappeared instantly and he looks a lot better, he surprisingly looked at his other wounds, what he got from the earlier fight, "What the ........" he was about to finish his sentence but he looked at my wrist it was still cut open and blood was still oozing out from it.
"Silly girl," Matthew murmured and put his palm at top of my cut open wrist and after few seconds he removed his hand, and voila my wound was completely healed.
Before I could ask him more questions he said to me "Healing is another gift of mine."
"Oh," I said to him.
"Then why do not you heal yourself first?" I asked him.
"Because vervain and pearl mixed potion is dangerous for vampires but this is more dangerous potion because it is invented by some dark-witch and sadly my 'healing' gift can't work on it and in the earlier flight that bastard vampire's knives were dipped in that potion," he explained.
Suddenly his eyes widened as if he realized something and said "But your blood it is something special, all my other wounds heal immediately and I am feeling very energized now."
Matthew stood on his feet and also helped me to stand up and said to me "Rihana , you are my friend that's why I am saying you this do not tell anyone about the special healing ability of your blood, then bad vampires will try to capture you and they will do very bad things with you and if dark witches find out that your blood is the antidote of one of their strongest potion, they can also harm you in so many ways, so be careful do not disclose it before any other persons."
"Ok," I said to him.
"Let's get inside the room," Matthew said to me and opened the door of the treehouse.
It was a small but cozy room, neatly clean but there is only one room, that's means we had to share this room, I thought it in my mind.
Matthew must sense my dilemma so he said to me " I will take the couch, You can take the bed, this is just for the night, early in the morning I will teleport you somewhere more suitable for living, I still feel weak and teleportation gift is my newly acquired gift, I am not very accustomed to it, I am still practicing it but I am sure in the morning I will be fine and I will teleport you to a more suitable place."
"Ok," I said to him I did not have any other choice and I knew that I was safe with Mathew.
