NEXT ENCOUNTER & I HATE HIM

RIHANA'S POINT OF VIEW

We were getting ready in the girl's dressing room. It was already 4.30 P.M, the event would be started in one hour, I thought to myself. I had a total of three dance numbers at this event including one solo dance performance and two group dance performances. 

"Rihu baby are you feeling nervous?" Mili asked me.

"No .. Mili," I replied to her.

"Do not lie. I know you are nervous. Everything will be fine," Mili said to me with an assuring smile.

"Yeah. I hope so. What about your condition?" I asked her.

" What about me? I am a born dancer," Mili said to me and made a cute pouted face.

I laughed out loud and said, " You are never going to change Mili..."

"Anything for Your smile Rihu Baby," Mili said to me.

"She is right Rihana. You have a beautiful smile. Keep it up always," Madam Neha said to me.

"Thank You, Madam, " I said to her.

"Rihana , Mili give your best today. It is a golden opportunity for both of you if you both really want to build your carrier in dance," Madam said to us.

"Yes. Madam," we both said in unison.

"Best of luck for both of you," Madam said to us.

"Thank you, Madam," we both said in unison.

"Thirty minutes more," Mili said to me.

"Yeah. The first performance is mine and that too is a solo dance. I hope I will do it perfectly," I said to Mili.

"Yeah, it is a long two hours event. I also hope that we all do it perfectly. It is a big chance for all of us," Mili said to me.

"Mili, Rihana Akash is waiting for both of you outside our dressing room," Joyita one of our team members said to us.

"Yeah, thanks for informing us," Mili said to her.

"Why me? " I asked Mili.

"You know why!! Besides you, no one knows that we are dating," Mili said to me.

I rolled my eyes and said to her "When will both of you grow up. You both are adults for God's sake." 

"Let's go," Mili said to me and pulled me and we both started to walk towards the door.

We met Akash just outside the door. "Hi. Loverboy. since, when you are waiting for your girl?" I asked him in a teasing tone.

"More than five minutes," Akash gave a reply in a playful tone.

"Nobody loves me.. Sad life," I said in a dramatic tone.

"We love you," Mili and Akash said in unison.

I started to laugh.

" You are too much," Mili said to me. Akash did not say anything he just shook his head two, three times.

"Ok. Ok. Now go and talk to each other," I said to them.

" Thank you," They both said in unison.

"But remember you both have 10 minutes," I said to them.

" Ok. But what you will do now? " Mili asked me.

I showed her my mobile phone in my hand and said " I will talk to Ahana." 

" You missed her right," Akash said to me.

" Yeah. I miss her. I also miss Ma and Baba but I miss her more," I replied.

"Yeah, I know she is your best friend, " Mili said to me.

What Mili said was right. Ahana who was four years younger than me, had always been my support system but sadly she could not attend this event because she had an exam tomorrow, only Ma, Baba would come to watch my performance.

"Talk to her. you will feel better," Mili said to me and they started to walk on another corner of the corridor.

I dialed my sister's number and started to walk on the opposite side.

Ring.. ring.. ring...

Ahana picked up my call and said " Hi Di (Elder sister)."

"Ahana... I miss you," I said to her.

"I miss you to Di. Do not get nervous. I know you will rock today," She said to me.

"Thank you... Is Ma and Baba both are coming?" I said to her. 

"Of course they are... Even I will come if I do not have this stupid exam. This is the first time I will miss your event," she said to me.

"I know but do not be sad, Concentrate on your studies, remember you have an exam tomorrow," I said to her.

"Yes... Boss," She said to me in a joking tone.

"All the best for your performance Di," Ahana said to me.

"All the best for your exam Ahana," I said to her.

- "Bye Di," Ahana said.

- "Bye Ahana.." I replied.

I ended the call and at the same moment, Mili and Akash joined me.

"Do you feel better now?" Mili asked me.

"Yes. I am," I said to her.

"All the best both of you," Akash said to us.

"All the best to You too," we said in unison.

Then I looked at my Cell phone, it was already 5 P.M, Mili and I entered in the girl's dressing room for our final touch of makeup.

Aaraav's point of view (3.30 P.M) -

Someone knocked at my door, with my demon power I already knew that it was Aryaan, I used my demon magic and my door magically opened, Aryaan entered my room, I knew that he wanted to know a lot of question especially about the incidents happened in dinning room.

"Are you not hungry?" he asked me.

"I have already eaten," I replied to him.

"You did not eat your favorite dish properly," he said to me.

I followed his gaze and looked at the chicken steak which was not even half-finished.

" you are jealous," he said to me.

"I am not," I shouted at him.

"Then why did you leave the room in a hurry and blocked everyone with your magical powers and you had not eaten properly," he said to me in a calm voice.

"Do not ask me stupid questions. Food is not tasty in this restaurant. I did not like it and I left the room because I do not like liars and she was f*****g lying in front of me," I said to him nonchalantly.

"She is your bride and our future queen," Aryaan said to me.

"She will be my future bride but she will never be my queen. She is not a queen material," I said.

"You are jealous of that boy is not it?" he asked me.

"No. I am not. You know that I need this human girl only to save her. Otherwise, she is nothing to me. You know it very well my heart only belongs to my love. In this lifetime I can not love anyone else," I said to him.

" She will live with you forever. If you do not love her then how will you be together?" Aryaan said to me.

"That human girl will be my bride because it's the only way to fulfill the demand of the Demon Council, I can't let anything happen to Athena. I will do anything within my power to save her, her happiness only matters to me. I do not care about this human girl. I do not care a damn about her and I will never love her," I said to Aryaan.

 Aryaan said to me "But.. ", I stopped him immediately by raising my hand and said" I do not want to talk about her now. I came here to find the truth about the oracle's prediction and as usual, she is right. Now, let's concentrate on the charity program and event. Then I will think about what to do next. " 

"Program will start at about 5.30 P.M. Are You going there?" Aryaan asked me.

"What's the particular schedule?" I asked him.

"At 5.30 P.M program will be started and event manager informed me that the whole event will be divide in two parts, first half will be for thirty minutes duration and a solo dance performance will take place at the very beginning, then they welcome you and other guests who are donating money in this event and then there will be some speech session from the organizers and sponsors and sponsors will hand over the money to the organizers, then the other half will start and it will be one and half hour duration and only group dances will be performed in the second half," Aryaan informed me.

"OK. then I will be present there in the first half and when the first half will end, I will return to my room. I am in no mood to watch this stupid dance performance. I will be there in time," I said to him.

"Ok. Bye," Aryaan said to me and left the room.

Rihana's point of view

I looked at my image in the mirror, the pink and golden Kanjivaram silk saree, Blouse, and other traditional attire look good on me and the golden temple jewelry complimented my look, I tied my ghungroos(ankle bells) on my ankles and adjusted it with the attached knots.  

I entered the stage and stood in the middle of the stage, the front curtains were still not opened yet. 

The music was started playing slowly and the front curtains started to open in slow motion, I did the Bhoomi pranam (The Bhumi pranam is the ritual of offering our respect and love towards the five elements of the universe, almighty God, mentor or guru and audience at the beginning of the dance.) I felt confident after that and then the music started and I started to perform the 'Ganesh Vandana ' dance item and when I finished my performance, I heard the sound of the audience, they were cheering and clapping for me. I felt happiness in my heart.

After two hours program ended, everyone was happy. Madam Neha and Rajat sir were very happy, this event ended well and in the future, we might get a lot of event contracts.

Mili and Akash were standing in a corner of backstage ,I joined them and we were talking as usual and teasing each other, then I heard Rajat sir's voice "Attention team members, I like to introduce you to our main Sponsor of this wonderful event, he wants to talk to you all." 

I was standing back facing them, so I Spun around and at the same moment I tripped and was about to fall but Akash hold me tight on my waist to save me, I sighed in relief and I was about to say thanks to him but before that, someone pushed Akash and he almost fell to the ground but somehow saved himself and that idiotic person said: "Do not touch her again." 

I was beyond angry about who the hell the person was I thought to myself and looked at the person and I was stunned that was the same arrogant, rude person I met in the dining room "What is this nonsense?" I asked him angrily. 

 "Who is he? Boyfriend?" he asked me in a venomous voice.

I was stunned when he asked this question, I ignored him immediately and looked at Akash, Mili was already near him, I asked him "Are you fine?"

 He gave me small smile and said "yes," I sighed in relief. 

Suddenly that arrogant monster pulled me closure to him and asked me " Who is he? I asked you a question damn it?." 

I looked at everyone they were looking at us, I hate this man, I knew it after this some of them would start gossiping about us and I was in this situation because of this delusional person.

I tried to get off his hand from my wrist which was held by him tightly, he tightened his grip and said: " Give me an answer damn it."

I lost my temperament at that moment and snapped at him "Who the hell are you? why should I give you an answer?" Then I paused for a few moments and spat" Go to hell."

The man in front of me was fuming in anger but before he could do something or spoke something, someone interfere with us and said to him, "Stop it Aaraav." 

I looked at the person and recognized him immediately he was the same person who accompanied the monster in the dining room. He stood just beside the monster and said something into his ear and pulled him towards the door and left the backstage. 

I looked at everyone, almost everyone present here looked at us suspiciously, I was embarrassed, Neha madam cleared her throat and said "Everyone go to your room and take  rest. " and She and Rajat sir left the room.

Everyone started to move from this place, I, Mili, Akash still stood there. Akash said to me and Mili, " Let's go." 

We just nodded at left the room after few minutes Mili asked me" who is the person and why does he behave so oddly?"

"I do not know Mili. I just hate him. He puts me and Akash in an embarrassing situation and I know you felt bad for what he said. I am sorry," I said to her.

"No, silly. Don't blame yourself. I know You and Akash are just friends," Mili said to me.

" Thank you. But others don't know about this, they will start gossipping and what will Rajat sir and Neha madam think?" I said to them.

" Let them gossip. We know the truth, what others will think it does not matter and Neha Madam knows you for the last twelve years. She knows how you are and Rajat sir does not care about anything unless it harms him monetarily," Akash said to me.

"Yeah. You are right. I just hate him," I said to them, and at the same moment my cell phone started to ring, I picked up my phone which was kept inside my sling bag, and saw the name on the screen and said "shit..."

"What happens?" Mili and Akash said to me in unison.

"I forget about Ma and Baba they are waiting for me. I forget about them because of this stupid drama," I said to them.

"Go meet your parents. I will wait for you in our room," Mili said to me.

I nodded my head and went to meet my parents.

Aaryaan's Point of view

Aaraav joined us at the right time and we took our seats in the front row which were specifically arranged for us. The event started and I was surprised to see that the solo dance was performed by Aaraav's bride.

 She looked stunning in her traditional dancing costume, I looked at the face of Aaraav and his face was void of any emotion. The dance ended and everyone seated in the front row started to appreciate her.

 After that the first half was boring with a lot of speech, then the second half  started and I was shocked when I saw Aaraav returned to his seat, then whenever that girl appeared on the stage for group dance performance Aaraav watched it thoroughly but in case of other dance performances, he was busy with his phone. I smiled at my mind but said nothing to him. 

After the event ended, Aaraav wanted to meet the performers and I approached the organizer they were immediately took us to the room where performers were waiting and there we saw Aaraav's bride, she tripped somehow and about to fall but the boy, maybe one of his team members prevented it and Aaraav lost his mind at the same moment he pushed the boy, but to my surprise, he was not badly injured, a demon had most powerful physical strength only archangel could match us in this aspect. Maybe Aaraav controlled himself at the last moment and before I could react he pulled his bride closer to him and shouted at her and that girl she was something else I admitted in my mind she snapped at Aaraav if anyone who knew him would present here they would be surprised, very few people could do it.

 I looked at Aaraav and sensed that he was losing control over himself, I cursed under my breath and somehow managed to stop him and pulled him with me, and left the room.
