It's night already,yet this crazy people are here dancing under neon lights in the club,our club and also one of the base.

Grabbing two whiskeys,i made my way to my friend,i still don't know what he is thinking.He acted so differently today,No!he never acted normal or predictable ever.

"Here",giving a jar of whiskey he sip it,his sharp aloof eyes lingering over crowd as we stood on first floor.I too stared at them,our men did a great job with security,"why did you give them a week?"

"To see what a lustful pig can do?",he stated but I can say this is the half reason,but I don't want to dig more,my friend has his own privacy and I like how he moves too.

"Pfft-so you want to see how he manage the money in a week?"

"Hmm",his head tilted slightly in daze,he remains in daze half of the time and the reason is still a mystery,even his background is a mystery for me.

LARIEN---

It's dark now,it took way too much time to come here.I stared at the door gathering courage to knock,it's been years that I have not contacted or seen her and I feel sad,sorry and bad for being such a bad friend.

KNOCK-KNOCK ,I became teary as I knocked the door.

"Coming~~~",she said and the door pulled open.

Silence fell,she is still the same,same black long hairs,same chubby yet beautiful face and her dark droopy eyes which carries warmth for me tremble as she looked upon me.

"Larien?m-my Lorry?",she mumbled weakly and getting a nodd in response jumped on me.

"Gasp"

"Oh lorry where were you from 3 years!",she asked half choked carrying sobs.

"Sobs-hic-hic",even i broke down,watching her every suffering and everything falls back on my shoulder,my head getting heavy.

Is this the power of warmth?

Watching me she took me in,and i explained everything to her like how my uncle accused me with his wife.

BANGGG

Banging her fist on the table she asked,"WHAT?"

"Hic-hic-i i was in prison april"

She cursed in her breath,"those sñarky bàstards dared to accuse you for the crime....which you did not even remember?",i nodded back in agreement.

"A-and you went inside prison for 3 years?",i nodded again.

"Dàmn 3 years?",i halt.

"And you did not even tried to contact me once or gave me a chance to try to save you?",she asked with hurtful voice.

l looked down under her teary gazes,"why did you not tell me anything?do you know how much I was searching for you?",she asked again but I remained same,silent.Just how could I when you were struggling on your own,how can I ask for help when I know that my one and only friend is already going through the grief of her parents death?

"Why did you not informed anything to me",so that I could add more problems to your life with my uncle and aunty's influence?,i stayed silent.

"You never believed in me,did you?",she asked with bitter smile.

"W-what?no!",I snapped at her

"You never believed in me that I was able to save you?"

"Urggg",here she goes again with her emotional tantrums but I like it.

"What?",she huffed.

"I did but I also needed to change and get away from them even if that was a prison"

Her eyes soften,her expression clearly telling she still sees me the same.

"I'm finally released from prison,and also from their clutches!"

"So?",she asked back folding her hands.

"So I m dàmnnn hungry and let's go to the amusement park after that?",rubbing my cheek on her shoulder i could not help but get drowned to her sister's love,like an elder sister she is for me.

"Hah"

"What?",i pouted back.

"I thought you will ask for a club or bar?",shook head.

"What's so special about that?i don't want to!-lets go to the amusement park!"

She nodded but added that we will go Tomorrow as it's already latenight.

I also informed her about resuming my studies where she happily agreed and explained that I will be her junior.

Sad,i wanted to be in the same class as her,but having a senior helping in studies is more good.

It's been two days that I m back to city,staying with April feels more good,i don't feel alone dark,scared or anything till now.Everything is peaceful till now maybe because we spent last two days in completing the documentations of my admission and finally today is my first day at University.

Walking along the street,we both crossed the road .

"So you really are my junior?",she asked half dissappointed.

"So what?,i can directly asked you for help~",i chirp and entered my classroom and shoo her to go attend her lecture.

My lectures ended earlier than expected, so I decided to look around until April comes out. Looking around the cafeteria is still the same, even the interior is same those who used to be mu classmates are now either passed out or my seniors from masters course.

Looking around I spotted some teenage boys playing with a skateboard, an unknown urge to play came go me and I made my way to them.

After asking, both the boys agreed to play with me and soon the game became a competition, I started showing them my skills while they looked in awe and tries to copy me.

Playing around, we entered the playground, where little children were playing with their parents, watching them I could not hold my tears back and bite my lips as they tremble. I want to feel my mothers back ride, I want to see her warm smile only once, just once, I want to hear her gentle voice please please just once.

"WHAT HAPPENED LORRY?", I snapped.

Their stood April, hurriedly looking at myself.

"I ASKED SOMETHING LORRY", She screamed again and made her way to me.

"Let's go", grabbing my hand she pulled me,"we are getting late,"she started dragging me,"why were you crying?"

"I missed my mom", she halt looked back then remembered something,"lets go I have a place in mind"

"But where?"

"My favorite restaurant!", she exclaimed happily.

Giving the Ikateboard back, i thanked them for olaying with me and promised to play again.

"wow",lorry looked around,this is the first time she has come to such a luxurious restaurant.

"It looks expensive!",she stated while the waiter guided them to an empty table.

Settling on it,lorry kept looking around,while april made the order.This place is not only the restaurant they also have hotel facilities above.The servants are all well mannered,waiters all trained and good.

"April",lorry asked worried all over,she knows her friend does many part time jobs just for the expenses of living and studies so how can she have money to come to the place like this?

"It's ok!i saved so much money when you were not around"

Lorry felt sad,she knows that she is the only friend April has because of her straightforward personality ,but she is a good person,a good friend.

"April,i want to start a part time job too",she don't want to burden april for her living expenses,and she is now an adult she should be responsible."why not start working with me at the cafe?"

Both agreed.

Watching all the food coming one by one,lorry stood up "i think i shall empty my stomach first?"

"What now?at a time like this!"

"I need space here too~~",patt her stomach.

"Ok ok come fast"

"Ok~~"

While walking towards the washroom,lorry felt like she saw someone familiar

"Huh?",she looked at the person and instantly hide behind a pillar.

"What is she doing here?",it is none other than Moana who is walking with hand in hand with a man double of her age.

Watching them,she still did not understood what's going on,but its moana and remembering moana's personality. Lorry decided to follow them .

Both went inside a room,sticking ear outside door móans erupted from inside.

"Ewwww",her nose crumbled in disgust how could her cousin sleep with a man of such age that too he looked like a married man with a ring on finger?

Now she regret following moana,she should have gathered some photos of her with that man to use but how can she when she don't even have cell phone?the first thing lorry decided to do after getting her salary is to buy a cell phone.

With a thought,she turned around,and regretted once again looking at all the doors,"whats this maze like corridors?",holding her hairs she stood in front of empty corridor.its some time and now She is lost.

With the habit of chewing all her fingers she desparately tries to find her way back

'ting'

"Huh-elevator?",she ran and her eyes brightening at the elevator which is opening up.

"W-wait",elevator stopped and she looked inside,and spotted some men who looked like some great figures.

So the elevator is exclusive,she thought and used her puppy eyes on elevator boy,"huff-huff-please please can you h-help me?i-i m lost?"

Elevator boy gulped,peek back at men who did not Move or rejected,"s-sure mam"

"Thank you so much"she hopped in then look back,"thank you so much sire", both men nodded.

Elevator moved,but lorry could not help but blush,how could such an handsome man Exist?she wondered she still did not dared to look at his face cleary due to fear but yes the man is handsome,with the height of more than 6 feets and with his cold yet mysteriously dangerous aura he is no less than a heir of big organization and lorry had no thoughts of getting entangled with such people.

Elevator stopped and she walked out hurriedly.

After she walked out,devin ordered elevator boy,"let's go" and peek at Aiden aside who never let any woman 1 meter close near himself and today he helped a woman?
