The light faded where it streamed down through the large opening in the top of the cavern. The sound of music began to be heard moving their direction from off behind the waterfall. On a path of soft flowers which wrapped around the lake, could be seen a procession of fairies, some marching in file, others flying in the air, their iridescent colors glowing in the half-light. A sled, pulled by a huge, Irish Elk, long thought to be extinct, carried fruits, nuts, and cheeses. Even various chocolates, and wondrous unnamed treats besides were on golden platters.
