IT DIDN’T take long before Sianna saw Eliezer running back toward the villa, breathless and visibly frantic.
The moment his eyes landed on her, his pace slowed.
From a desperate run, it turned into a hurried walk until he finally stopped in front of the patio, chest rising and falling as he tried to catch his breath.
Sianna, still seated in the patio chair, lifted a hand and gave him a small wave, a smile already playing on her lips.
“Hi,” she said softly, almost teasing.
Eliezer just stared at her.
For a moment, he looked like he couldn’t quite believe what he was seeing. He took a deep breath, then another, before finally moving toward her again.
Sianna rose from her seat and walked forward to meet him halfway. The second he reached her, he pulled her into a tight embrace.
