“BREAKFAST in bed,” Eliezer said with a smile as he walked into their room carrying a tray of food. Still half-asleep, Sianna blinked a few times as she pushed herself up from where she had been lying. She hadn’t even realized that Eliezer had gotten up ahead of her. If he hadn’t woken her, she was sure she would’ve slept until noon. The cool, quiet atmosphere of the place made it so easy to stay in bed. “What time is it?” she asked right away, her voice still thick with sleep. “Past eight,” Eliezer replied after glancing at his watch. “You need to eat now or it’ll already be lunchtime before you know it.” Time really did move strangely in that place.
