Neil didn’t know what to make of Candy. He was still bothered that she had pushed him away when he tried to help her with her seat belt. What was going on with her? He could feel her pulling away and couldn’t quite put his finger on why, but he also sensed that she was way out of her element here, and the only thing he wanted to do was make it easier for her.
