Jasper woke up, forcefully pushed out of his dream world. He looked around, maybe hoping he’d see a change, but he woke up as always—confused and alone. He put on his slippers and moved towards the bathroom, scratching his tummy and thinking of what to feed his two favorite dogs. He stopped in his tracks, his mind still foggy. Where were his dogs? They always slept with him. Ever since Liam left… Jasper stopped all movement and then his mind caught up with reality.
