"Had fun?" Xander asked as I rejoined him, referring to me running off to chase butterflies and bunnies earlier, and I felt my cheeks heat up in embarrassment. I really did let myself go for a while there, didn't I?
But anyway, it wasn't even completely my fault. I spent way too much time indoors doing practically nothing, and now, being outside again for the first time in so long, it feels almost like I was reborn. Like everything is fresh and new again after all this time. I just couldn't control the excitement I felt when I ran after those cute and colorful butterflies, even the bunnies.
