THIRD POV.
The atmosphere was beyond tense as both men sat glaring at each other across the table in Alpha Lucien's office. It was clear now that the two men were on completely different pages as the conversation between them progressed, neither wanting to see things from the other's point of view as far as this particular topic was concerned.
Alpha Lucien breathed out harshly through his teeth as he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. He couldn't understand why his godfather didn't seem to get him. He couldn't understand why he kept misunderstanding him, saying something else altogether.
