I felt my eyes tear up for a second as I felt all the memories from that day before flow back into my head. I quickly shook it off, blinking rapidly to get rid of the tears that was about to fall as I remembered the promise I made to myself that day. That no matter what happened Lucien would never get another drop of my tears ever again. No one would.
Quickly regaining my composure, I let the warmth disappear from my voice as I addressed Xander.
"That's none of your business, Xander, stay within the lines."
