Charles closed his eyes, anticipating Isabella’s lips touching his but much to his dismay, Isabella quickly pecked his cheeks and stepped away.
He opened his eyes and was surprised to see her quick and smart move.
“You said a kiss!” she smirked back at him, suggesting that she was down for the two playing games with each other.
Charles simply brought the papers near him and signed them off, walking out and passing the papers to Karl, who was waiting right outside to get the papers from his boss.
Charles then walked back in and stood right in front of Isabella.
“This time, that kiss would suffice but the next time you don’t get off so easily.”
Isabella chuckled, in a haughty manner, throwing her head back and pretending that she was not disgusted by Charles right in that very moment.
