Isabella was rendered entirely stunned and completed fazed as McKenzie’s words fell upon her ears.
“He would never do the same for you!”
Isabella kept watching the notorious and obnoxious woman’s back, as she exited the room.
Her words kept lingering and echoing her mind over and over again.
She wanted to scream and deny the truth and reality that McKenzie’s words held but she couldn’t bring herself to believe how honest her words were.
Throughout everything that McKenzie had stated; this was the truest she had been.
It was the moment that light shun upon Isabella and she realized that indeed, Alex would never do the same for her.
He would never defend her honor, if anyone was to claim anything about her.
Or at least, that was how much she was unaware of his level of trust on her.
